“Well…”

She sighs, and drops her robe, back still turned to him as she walks to her closet to grab some clothes. Jean was still wearing a bra and panties though.

“I suppose we can hang out.”

“Just getting ready for the day.”

She says, finishing up and looking back at him.

“You ask as if you want to hang out, would that be right?”

She nods, putting on mascara followed by her lipstick.

“Mmmhm.”

“Cyclops?”

Jean stands up, walking over to her makeup table and started to apply some.

“Scott.”

She says, not noticing Peter bite his lip.

“Maybe, I don’t know.”

She nods.

“Yeah, just, things got a little messy and we decided to split. But we each left the door open.”

“Well to put it simply”

She brushes her hair out of her face and looks at Peter.

“I’m single, for the time being.”

She sighed, sitting down on her bed.

“Nothing I haven’t dealt with before, don’t worry.”

“Many of us can do that Peter.”

She says, brushing her hair, wearing a long flowing green robe.

“Did you need something?”

“I can read minds goof ball.”
