I don’t know. I love what I make. I am so proud of the visuals I create. I have always regarded streaming as performance art, not sure why I don’t give the same respect to the set-builder (also me).
I certainly can draw some, enough to alter art convincingly in fun ways. I certainly have an understanding of detail and texture and composition.
But… I am not making art for art’s sake, ultimately it serves a purpose beyond self expression.
But it IS my self expression. I like functional art.
I’ve been contending with a question lately as I journey further into graphic design, especially design for stream assets.
Am I a visual artist? Should I consider myself one. At what point do the assets I create for streaming become actual “art”? Or are they artifice?
Thank you! That Seth art is a fun piece and I gave it some modifications to fit the ball-jointed marionette idea I had, mouth is puppet too. Drew in the ball joints, and gave Aureo some Gendo Ikari aura cuz that shit was fun. I had to draw a lot of outlines back for blending xD

If you mean to ask if you see things overlayed on your actual vision, I can’t say I have heard of that. However, I can in a mental space inside my head, heavily visualize exact details of objects in three dimensions. I interpret this as different from vision. Is *envisioning*.
