Finally started the new season of Primal, and holy shit. Each episode leaving a new permanent scar or wound on Spear as his body is already decaying just breaks my heart. The focus on the natural vs unnatural is fascinating, I'm loving the depressing vibe.

Pogo has awful taste in musicians.

The og Eclipse colouring is wild enough to be worth a read on its own but the more restrained colouring of the last two feel more true to intent. The eclipse trades and 2014 release are similar enough but the former avoids the ugly airbrushed/glossy look which is why I opted for those.

I care A LOT about recolouring and artistic intent so while there's no true perfect version of the comic to read, the eclipse trades (bottom left) are far and away my favourite.

Yayyy my Miracleman book 2 arrived completing my set! So happy to physically own the best version of one of the coolest comics ever.
