I’m working on expanding my friend circle but my current situation is so annoying. It’s like anytime I invite someone out somewhere they just run out the clock on the invite and send a novel of an excuse at the time the plans would’ve been. Just say no, it’s so easy. I don’t care why lol

In terms of Zelda, my life feels like Breath of the Wild. Each big discovery—anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism—was like taking down a Divine Beast. Realizing I’m trans was beating Calamity Ganon. Now that I’ve beaten the game, I’m just running around Hyrule, leveling up and waiting for more DLC.

Haha! Earlier this week I was watching Toy Story and had the realization that Pixar can be separated into a Randy Newman and Post Randy Newman era. The truly timeless Pixar movies only came out in the age of Randy. Nothing since has broken through for me.

For years, I’ve been stuck in that awkward limbo where if I show my ID without being asked, they look at me like I’m stupid for thinking they need it. Then on the flip side, if I don’t show my ID without being asked they act like I should have known they needed it. Can’t win! 🤷‍♀️

In retrospect, all of the adults telling me to “ignore bullies” when I was a kid was really bad advice. Pretty much every name that I was called by a bully ended up being pretty much right on the money.

Could have saved a lot of time and therapy!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this was the chapter where about halfway through, I found myself relating too much only to burst into tears moments later with the realization that I was autistic. The life I had been living immediately ended and I was diagnosed a year later. Amazing book and great author.

Look, I have nothing against members of the military. I appreciate everything they do to keep us safe and I respect them for doing it when I know I’d never be able to do it myself.

I was diagnosed as autistic and realized I was trans all in 2024. My approach is to establish a support system first and make friends from that as opposed to the other way around. I’ve found support groups to attend that have been amazing and I can see friendships forming soon.
