The whole 'Starmer only appointed Mandelson because he knew he was dodgy and Trump would like him' line only works if you ignore:
a) the fact that Trump almost vetoed the appointment himself.
b) Labour Together.
It's unserious as a claim.

Comic of the beetle from the cover of Massive Attack's "Mezzanine" meeting the crab from the cover of The Prodigy's "Fat of the Land".
Hi this joke is for me
Palantir in the NHS is linked to Mandelson
Mandelson is linked to Wes Streeting
Wes Streeting is defending Palantir’s involvement in the #NHS
Nothing to see or everything to see
Palantir must be removed from the NHS
David Cameron got that pig's head pregnant and thats where wes streeting came from
Weirdly I’ve started watching these in the past week or so. Watched three so far.
just saw your boyfriend buying a t'pau picture disc
FWIW I have genuine issues with it and am very much not a fan. But I’m also a hypocrite in that there’s usually one (but only one) thing on the list that I really fancy.
There has never been a single year since the nakba where more Israelis died than Palestinians.
2023 was the deadliest year ever for Palestinian children. *Up to October 6th*.
On the 10th of September last year Keir Starmer told parliament that full due process was followed during the appointment of Mandelson and he said it not once, not twice, but three times.
It’s illustrative to recognise when the Guardian uses the word investment (straightforward handing over cash to the private sector) and when it uses spending (welfare, public sector wages)
If Starmer knew what that Mandelson failed his security vetting and didn’t tell Parliament, he lied to the house and should resign. If he really didn’t know that Mandelson failed his vetting, he’s incompetent and should resign.
There aren't many people who could say this who I'd believe but I believe them.
Tbf I love the new Jumanji films, they’re great fun. They know exactly what they are and don’t take themselves that seriously.
Once again the government are moving asylum seekers who are members of our congregation, with almost no notice, to cities hours away, and no matter how many times it happens I don't get any less mad.
Just checked and this is real - Scottish Labour’s manifesto refers to trans people using slurs and commits to a policy of explicit segregation in public life
Well at least Viktor Orbán is free to headline Wireless next year.
“Get up, Jeffrey, we’re going to Little St James”
My other Glen Campbell anecdote (from a separate visit to his ranch) involved him handing me a guitar, letting me clang out a few atonal chords on it, and then tell me "that was Elvis's guitar"
The nation demands it
The first three weeks were genuinely good too. There was a massive dip in quality tonight sadly.
After three good weeks I didn’t think much of this week’s #SNLUK sadly. Can’t stand Jack Whitehall though so it could be that.
Okay so you might see this video with the audio muted. Now imagine how the music must sound like. I urge you to unmute and listen to what it's actually like because I guarantee you you're not prepared for it.
Ahhhh!
Four weeks in and they haven’t fixed Belgium being missing from the Weekend Update backdrop. It’s all I can see. #SNLUK
(I could’ve sworn she was already dead though)
Oh no! Always liked her in things, just a really *odd* presence. Her brief turn as possibly the devil in ITV’s “Whitechapel”, like Murray Melvin in “Torchwood”, is one of my favourite “great villain, poorly served” roles.
