That's a big difference, for sure! Even with the same written line, different VAs will give very different reads that can tweak the way the character comes over. As long as you're not just being asked to voice match some other VA/character, there's a lot of flexibility!

Good question! I think it will vary quite a lot between VA's preferences. Some really like to improv a bit, but I'm happy when I'm given a set script - then I've got the writer's vision, and like to bring the character to life from that.
