My boy has gotten into that time in his life where he just takes his allowance in Robux
I run into this man when I get lost down there.
He doesn’t charge me to eat.
He welcomes me to his table.
I very rarely speak in my dreams and even more rarely speak Spanish, but I chat in Spanish with this man all the time.
I saw him again in my dream just now.
Was nice.
I’ve met him a couple of times now.
He’s thin, older, very mexican.
He’s a sculptor and an artist, and he’s very kind.
I go down to San Antonio for work sometimes in my dreams.
Usually a day trip on a scooter.
There’s a man I meet in my dreams sometimes.
He’s a chef down in San Antonio.
He makes the most wonderful grilled shrimp tacos and guacamole.
His restaurant isn’t a restaurant. It’s his home, and it’s an outdoor yoga studio with a view of the ocean.
I’ve got some from north Texas.
Thrilled to be nominated for The Wild Robot.
And just getting started. :)
It’s official! Brad and I are the new owners of Dallas Audio Post!

I remember NDT being asked how he speaks so fluidly in interviews and his response was that he only really talks about things he’s written about extensively.
I dunno. I think tangents can sometimes be more valuable than the main subject.
On the practice side, this guy has good stuff

Write about your subject more. It helps to organize thoughts.
Also practice.
I cracked the code. Told my boomer dad that having motion smoothing on his TV 'makes it work twice as hard' and will 'wear it out faster' and now hes obsessed with making sure its off.
I've been doing some research into how different games handle a "player low health" state using audio and found some cool details in Cult of the Lamb 🔊

A word that’s very difficult I type. Also a rock and roll side table.

This music track has a sample in it that sounds exactly like my control room door squeak when it opens.
I keep turning my head left to look every two bars as I do this volume ride.
HOLY COW! Our Emmy®-winning "What If..?" immersive story, for the Apple Vision Pro, is a finalist for the Apple App Store Awards! I was the audio lead/Supervising Sound Editor, and I'm super proud of all the amazing work our implementation, SFX, dialogue, and Foley teams did on this! #gameaudio
If you're just starting out in #sounddesign, try practicing the entire PROCESS, not just a narrow, specific discipline: the decisions you'll need to make at in spotting, designing, and mixing. Get used to killing your darlings and making hard decisions. Finish, reflect on how it went, learn, repeat.
That’s funny, I’m exactly the opposite with a control surface. I’m almost never turning a knob and always flipping plugins out to faders.
I find creativity and pattern mapping difficult to separate.
How would you define the distinction?
