Watching pigeons have sex on the side of my hotel pool so wasn't on my bucket list, but it's checked off now. And, as a bonus, I learned that pigeons typically mate for life and have no external sex organs.

My entire body hurts, and I'm surviving on fried chicken, popcorn, pizza, Snickers, Jello shots, and wine. And there is over a week to go. And, I'm so beyond happy! Mardi Gras is the best!
I haven't had a real meal since Thursday and shit hasn't even gotten real yet. Life in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. IYKYK.
There is nothing quite like the St Augustine marching 100. And, getting a private concert before Krewe of Freret? Priceless!
You know things are bad when leftovers from the fridge thrown together are better than most restaurant meals.
Umbrellas are almost done and the Minnesota in me is feeling particularly proud of this one.
So... is it good? I'm seriously tempted to try this one.
You know us. For years, you watched and listened to our coverage of the Chicago area. As journalists, we did our best to bring you accurate, objective information about the people, events and issues that mattered. We hope we gained your trust. So please trust us now when we say that what is happening in the Chicago area is wrong. The fact that some federal immigration forces may be leaving soon is cold comfort given the damage they’ve done and what they may do in other cities. We are retired, but our colleagues who are still on the job have shown you a brutal and illegal campaign against fellow Chicagoans, mainly Latinos: violent abductions, gutting families, using tear gas around children, roughing up witnesses, ramming cars and even taking a day care teacher from her school.

If the skill set of the crew working at Central BBQ in Memphis is indicative of our current capabilities, we are in a world of hurt.
Made my first visit to Sheetz for "Wisconsin cheese bites." Not bad for East Coaster's. But they need to get the name right....
New rule: if a restaurant is giving away free bibles, I'm walking out. The food is invariably mid and the politics are invariably terrible.
No Kings. New Orleans.
So beautiful!
Seriously, Linkin Park playing before the Champions League final??? There wasn't anyone better available? Maybe someone from Europe?
I just can't rustle up any sympathy for people who are worried about missing a connecting flight at O'Hare bc their first flight arrived 10 minutes late. Ten minutes late is practically early at O'Hare.
Watching someone die in the US is the best possible advertisement for assisted suicide that I've ever seen.

I may not have gone to Jazz Fest this weekend, but I still saw Trombone Shorty slay it!
Someone needs to explain why Northern Trust demands a credit check before allowing me to rent a safety deposit box. That I pay for in advance. That contains items worth more than the rental fee.
Birds aren't real, Barry.
I don't have a fancy camera, but I'm pretty proud of this shot, even if I don't know what it is. Taken at Historic Canoa Ranch in Arizona.
The United States is the richest country in the history of the world. You’re not struggling because other countries are screwing over America. You’re struggling because billionaires are robbing hard working Americans
I grew up in Wisconsin. I love brandy slush and fried cheese curds. Tonight proved that the people of Wisconsin can't be bought.
22 hours in and Booker makes more sense than Schumer's questions...
