Black door of 10 Downing Street with text about Westminster facing an energy crisis and Scotland controlling its energy to reduce bills.

Black door of 10 Downing Street with text about Westminster facing an energy crisis and Scotland controlling its energy to reduce bills.

Westminster is sleepwalking into an energy crisis and Scotland is left paying the price.

Scotland’s energy should be in Scotland’s hands, so we can bring bills down and build a wealthier country.

On May 7th, make it #bothvotesSNP for a fresh start with independence and lower energy bills.

Free tuition.
Free prescriptions.
Scottish Child Payment.
Lowest council tax bills in the UK.
Peak rail fares gone for good.
Child poverty falling.

That is our SNP record and proof that self-government works.

Imagine how much more we could do with the powers of independence.

Your SNP Scottish Government has abolished peak rail fares for good.

This means a cheaper daily commute for thousands across Scotland.

That’s money back in your pocket, whether you’re travelling for work or leisure, given the reduced cost of rail travel.

Yellow background with a quote from John Swinney, First Minister of Scotland. The quote reads: “In 2014, millions of us shared something powerful. A vision of a better Scotland wasn’t just hoped for – it was already being imagined, created, and lived. That belief hasn’t gone away. In fact, it’s needed now more than ever.” A circular photo of Swinney appears in the bottom right, raising his hand and smiling in a dark suit. SNP branding and the Scottish flag appear below with the slogan “Always on Scotland’s Side.”

@aberdeencc.bsky.social
have agreed to fund five night bus routes across #Aberdeen on Friday and Saturday nights, from later this month.

First Aberdeen’s single fare prices will apply on these services, which also means they will be included in the Scottish Government’s free bus travel schemes.

SNP claim Nigel Farage is to blame for cost of living crisis SUNDAY MAIL EXCLUSIVE: The party's Westminster leader said Farage is the reason why Scots are struggling financially

Brexit has cost the UK £140bn - £2000 per person - and sent prices skyrocketing.

Farage is the cause of the cost of living crisis, not the solution.

Will he apologise to Scots for the damage he’s caused tomorrow - or will he keep avoiding the obvious?

The suffering in Gaza is intolerable. The attacks by Israel must stop and humanitarian aid must flow immediately.

There must be resolute international pressure on Israel to halt its current stance. Humanity must prevail.

The UK has used the Scottish fishing industry as a bargaining chip for its own ends - again.

They didn’t even bother to consult the Scottish Government this time.

Only independence would allow us to negotiate our own settlement, and protect Scotland’s fishing industry.

The Prime Minister’s statement on immigration today will damage our economy, the NHS, social care and our universities. It ignores the need to boost Scotland’s working age population.

This sort of divisive language only plays into Nigel Farage’s hands.

Not in Scotland’s name.

The 2026 Scottish Parliament election must be about independence.

Support for independence is at an all-time high, and we need to continue to push forward our positive vision for Scotland.

I am asking SNP Members in Angus South to vote for me #1 when ballots open next week.

Anas Sarwar told us “Read my lips: no austerity under Labour.”

Now, Rachel Reeves is planning to slash billions from welfare and public service budgets.

Labour’s promises mean nothing. Scotland shouldn’t have to suffer for Westminster’s choices.

📢 A new report shows Scotland will be the only part of the UK where child poverty falls over the next four years.

If the UK followed our lead, 800,000 fewer children would be in poverty.

Action, not excuses, delivers results. Westminster must step up.

Labour’s Employers National Insurance Contributions hike is a tax on jobs.

They say they want to grow the economy, but they are going the wrong way about it.

Westminster mistakes, but we all have to suffer the consequences.

It’s time for independence. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Terribly sorry to hear of the death of Denis Law - an inspiring footballer of immense skill and talent. His record of scoring goals for Scotland made a special place for him in all of our hearts.

My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

The SNP is advocating for a social tariff for energy consumers to help cut household bills.

The UK Labour Government must step up to the plate & help make this a reality.

People need help during this cost of living crisis.

✅ Our budget delivers universal Winter Heating Payments for all pensioner households—yet the Tories plan to vote against it.

⚠️ The Tories have no credibility.
