We are very grateful to the leaders and people of United State of 1945. Grateful to that generation. We don't owe nothing to USA today, and Germans are our friends. We are all Europeans.
That depends only on the European countries, not to the European commission. The EU countries must agree in a common foreign policy (that we don't have at the moment) and a common army (again, the same). For that, they must give up a big sovereign slice, which they now still don't want to do.
It’s time we finally have our own army, independent of nationalism or the politics of any single state. We need to reform and overcome the majority system.
