Daily Shearsmith, Day 43: Urban Bedford (Inside No 9 - How Do You Plead?) Urban is one of those characters that keeps you guessing right to the end. Is he the world's most put-upon nurse, working for an asshole, or is he something a little darker... Reece is so good at playing these types.
Daily Shearsmith, Day 42: Dean Tavalouris (League of Gentlemen). I'm sure this isn't a character, it's just a representation of Reece as a teenager, going round the streets annoying people with his magic tricks. The eyes were apparently very uncomfortable 👀 #ReeceShearsmith #LeagueofGentlemen
Daily Shearsmith, Day 41: Drew (Inside No 9 - The Trolley Problem). A very disturbed individual, who I struggle to blame for his actions, considering his reasons and the point he's making. Fun fact: Reece drew a sketch during one scene that was auctioned for charity. #ReeceShearsmith #InsideNo9
Daily Shearsmith, Day 40: Inspector Huish (Miss Marple - Ordeal by Innocence).The GORGEOUS Inspector is the best thing about this adaptation. I absolutely love Reece playing a detective, and there's something about the ribbed jumper under a suit jacket... 🔥 #ReeceShearsmith #InspectorHuish
Daily Shearsmith, Day 39: Syd (Hangmen - Royal Court Theatre). Reece on stage is a sight to behold, he manages to outshine everybody else he acts with. The role of Syd needs someone with a perfect grasp of comic timing to do it justice: who better than Reece? Always mesmerising. #ReeceShearsmith
Daily Shearsmith, Day 38: Keith Drop (League of Gentlemen). I ADORE Keith. Is he an incredibly camp actor with far too much makeup on? Or is he Papa Lazarou in disguise? Nothing is certain except he has a killer fashion sense! #ReeceShearsmith #LeagueofGentlemen
Daily Shearsmith, Day 37: Jacob Tyler (Inside No 9 - The Riddle of the Sphinx). I'm sure there's a correlation between how psycho Reece's characters are and how blond their hair is. Jacob is a perfect example of what can happen to someone who gets cheated on. Let that be a lesson! #ReeceShearsmith

Daily Shearsmith, Day 36: Mr Warren (Inside No 9 - The Trial of Elizabeth Gadge). Today's Reece is far too hairy for my liking. But Reece adores this character, and this is exactly who he would have been if he'd been alive during the witch trials. Love the outfit! #ReeceShearsmith #InsideNo9
Daily Shearsmith, Day 35: Stella Hull (League of Gentlemen). The Queen, the Legend. Stella is all of us that have ever been married. The arguments between her and Charlie are what I imagine arguments between Reece and Steve are like. #ReeceShearsmith #LeagueofGentlemen

Daily Shearsmith, Day 33: Hugo (Stage/Fright). I can't say much about Hugo without risking spoilers for those who haven't seen the play yet, but I think that this character is who Reece will be after a couple more years of dealing with inane fans 😂
Daily Shearsmith, Day 32: "The President" (A Very Expensive Poison - The Old Vic). A comedy about the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko sounds ridiculous, but Reece's turn as Putin (not named) was very highly praised. And apparently the cast was put on a Russian watch list! #ReeceShearsmith
Daily Shearsmith, Day 31: Viktor (Inside No 9 - Once Removed). The smiling assassin in the pink shorty robe. Such a clever episode, and I love Viktor's approach to problem solving. Can't get used to Reece as a blond, though. #ReeceShearsmith #InsideNo9
Daily Shearsmith, Day 30: Hector (Inside No 9 - The Harrowing). This creepy guy gives me serious nail envy. Not so sure about the hair. Hector and Tabitha (played by the wonderful Helen McCrory) made brilliant freaky siblings. Missed Steve in this episode, though. #ReeceShearsmith #InsideNo9
