An immaculate sprite of a Water Dragon from Dragon Cave. It is doin' a blep.
Dragon Cave has received its biggest sprite update in *years*.
Which one is your favorite?
I was tangentially curious if any other languages had the feature in your second point. Plenty have optional chaining but for method calls specifically it looks like Javascript's version does in fact support object.method?.()
TIL.
see?
here's the thing. A lot of people are like, the earth is fucked, it's beyond salvation, it's hit the tipping point, but time and time again we see that if we just fucking fixed the problem, it rebounds so incredibly fast. Imagine what could be done if people actually cared
subway ad that says "your idea could be live by the time you reach your stop"
as a culture we have really given "ideas" way too much credit. ideas are a dime a dozen. they happen all the time. the magic is way more in the doing, and the doing's diminished stature is linked to lack of respect for labor and, more recently, skill and expertise.
A blue Dragonborn with wings and red accents stands in an aggressive pose. He is wearing silver armor with gold trim, and large fangs indicate that he is a vampire.
My D&D character has had an evil vampire copy of him looming for a while now, but he's going to be highly plot-relevant in the next few sessions so I made art to use for his token.
“I don’t like Bad Bunny because I can’t understand Spanish.”
You are WEAK. Weeaboos have been jamming out to songs they don’t understand in Japanese for decades.
"what's the weather like outside?"
*proceeds to stare at clock*
"Ah yes, 2:40pm"
"This app could've been a website" is the "this meeting could've been an email" that not enough people talk about.
Important perspective from Greenland.
16 bit pixel art bust of a robot with an egg-shaped brass chassis. He has green lamps for eyes, a hose connecting his mouthpiece to his chest, and a gray fuel tank with a dented muffler on his back. The character depicted is Robo from the game Chrono Trigger.
Name? Ah, my serial number. It is R66-Y.
The second piece of the December '25 Subscriber Suggestion Weekend, Robo from Chrono Trigger!

EARTHBOUND - Local child defeats violent gang
"Something that I have found difficult for non-artists to understand is that the ‘early messy stuff’ that non-arty folks insist can be ‘fixed by a human artist later’ is where the best work is done."
True of every creative field. You can't start building halfway up; the foundation has to be sound.
Repost if you're tired
A bird standing on a beach facing the ocean. Classic "meme-style" (thick white font with black outline) text reads "MAN."
Took this picture the other day and a friend realized the meme potential.
A 16 bit pixel art half-body portrait of a large character fully clad in black and white armor. The helmet of the armor is accented with brass trim, and both the helmet and gauntlets have pale blue highlights. The art is of the client's Warrior of Light from Final Fantasy XIV
FF14 has returned to my queue in a big way.
Viewer redeem for @tj09.net of their Roegadyn Warrior of Light.

Several dragons sit around a campfire. One, standing, holds a book in one claw, reading scary tales to the others. Overlaid text reads "Dragon Cave's 19th Birthday"
Happy Birthday to us! 19 years of Dragon Cave!

#ACUVAC currently only has about 400 wishlists, which is not enough to get picked up by Steam's algorithm.
With Next Fest coming up, ACUVAC is going to have a playable demo! Hopefully that gives us a much needed push!
Help ACUVAC by wishlisting + following! #indiegames #gamedev

Ooh you did the soundtrack for Revenant's Reach? Sick, I've been looking forward to that after seeing it several PAX's ago.
🎂 Happy Birthday!
Sure. I'd recommend checking out the RaidSecrets community on Reddit (www.reddit.com/r/raidsecrets/) and Discord as well; most of the coordination and solving occurred there, and a lot of people in that community have documented the process or could give additional perspectives.
Haven't played Destiny since December, but apparently that isn't enough to stop me getting sucked into the latest community puzzle. They're too much fun.
Congrats to everyone who contributed, be it submitting pieces, helping verify data, or theorizing solutions.
I tried to buy it years ago and after it never shipped I learned the last of iam8bit's stock had apparently gotten damaged or something.
And now I have another chance 👀
imagine dying on main and not even on an alt.
