Who is getting the $3.50 return here? The promoter, ticket seller, food and drink vendor, security firm - and many of the hotels are overseas owned and take money out of our economy? We don't even have a rule in place to ensure local acts open these 'Major Events' like Aus does

That movie was so bad I felt compelled to apologise to the people I convinced to go with me. Not even the sounds were good, but I guess they felt compelled to give the money people something

Social media should have "Sports Mode" where you can turn it on to yap, and turn it off to avoid spoilers (up to 24 hour delay?)

How it started: *Nail gun won't drive nails due to update. Separate tool now required to drive nails

How it's going: Emails shouldn't have images actually. This was the original sin. Reject Enborkification, return to plain-text

*Adobe software

**AutoIncorrect can also get lost

Pretty sure at least some of it is the Territorial waters of Iran - hence they are in their right to defend incursions with appropriate force.

Hold up, let me pop outside and take a photo - I have a perfect visual for the roll out of that policy…

I was having a closer look at Spotify's new "About this song" beta feature and of course this seems to be a cool new form of automated copyright violation once you dig into some of the cited sources

Nah that's for the Northern Hemisphere. For Southern Hemisphere I think it's a White Swan?

A larger bet might itself change the odds. A system set to bet automatically when the odds are at a particularly favourable, like a trading algorithm, sounds more likely actually now I think about it 🤔

Perhaps this is an automated betting system of some kind? I would imagine that small bets are more statistically likely to be successful bets than large ones

Either this is supposed to have 3 question marks or the underpants gnomes have generated a Mandela effect I haven't heard about yet.

The much talked about "low nic vapes" and "no nic vapes" come at a higher price point than the high/regular (what ever that means, I assume they're maximised for addiction)

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT THIS!!!

Vaping is not a smoking cessation device. I do not know a single person who has stopped vaping after taking it up for this reason - and I know several who went from vaping to smoking because vaping was causing more chronic health issues

So OFC I'm not watching Eurovision this year. But every month they drop a "20 most viewed" comp on YouTube and I do partake. Whoever is in charge of cutting it is doing some great work. It's fascinating to see what's on it and how the last two years "winner" of the public vote absolutely isn't ever

This is gross, but tbh they don't teach ethics to design students either. I remember getting an assignment where one of the items we had to make a sign for was an "Indian Village". I had a conversation with the tutor about this not only being inappropriate but also inaccurate, they didn't get it.

I heard this, I also heard it was bad, and I also had friends who said it was great who cried a lot 🤷‍♀️. Going later in the week, pretty sure regardless it's at a minimum Margot Robbie/10

*FYI this is not tornado weather, that usually comes from the north-east and you can see the clouds forming way off

2 months ago 0 0 0 0

Also while I'm at it; a similar number of people have been killed in Auckland while at work due to a tornado in the last 30 years, than have been killed by sharks in the entire country in that time frame. For some reason people tend to be more worried about the latter 🤷‍♀️

I just saw a post where someone had a tree pruned for free directly into their driveway. Yeah that's a cat 1. Auckland cops a lot of flack for our weather being 'soft' but wind damage is the main way most of the trees in the 'burbs get a trim tbh
