it really isn't at all, in fact the multiplayer prior to the expansion was awful, it was basically made to be soloed, except for the very optional collab quests

yup, had the exact same thing happen when I learned that in mhgu, my first old gen title

plus even in tri onwards sometimes the monster just moves 3 loading screens away and by the time you get there they've moved again aaaaand now you lost them, time to go in circles for half an hour again

exactly right, he really needs to stop directing mainline, but I'm afraid this is just what monster hunter is now, I can only hope the portable entry for 6th gen, if there's any, and maybe even outlanders, can capture some of the essence back

i actually really liked world's track system, if it was more polished and not forced into being obligatory for the main story it'd be perfect

absolutely, i was a world and rise baby 6 years ago and over time as i got more and more into old gen mh i grieve for this aspect of the saga, i need high friction back, and also the cozy and silly vibes, i abhor how seriously world and wilds take themselves

yeeeah there's some really unnecessary annoying stuff across the saga, but friction is definitely the catalyst for memorability and meaningful fun, wilds is so dumbed down it makes me sad

plus there's some stuff in the list that were just good ideas that need to come back, like underwater combat and double element dual blades

honestly, i get it, while i do think some of the stuff on the list is crossing the line from friction to unfun, i whole heartedly agree with the overall sentiment

that's the fucking issue, the dems are fence-sitting while ICE is out there killing people, get the liberal dick out of your ass and radicalise now, ask more of your representatives, pressure them, take action
