How do you not challenge that

Yeah pretty much. They can’t really afford to keep playing Marchan, but really can’t afford to lose him on waivers either
Not watching the game tonight since I don’t have Peacock, so feels as good of a time as ever to remind everyone that like every Sunday night game from 1990 to 2017 is just free on YouTube.

Kimbrel loses it in the 10th for the Mets lol just incredible
I’m sure won’t be back for a while (if at all) unless there’s an injury. Banking on him to be Marsh’s platoon partner was definitely a mistake
Posted the right video this time lol
Felix Reyes homered in his first at bat with the Phillies
What an at bat by Adolis
Brandon Marsh robs Acuna of a homer on the first pitch of the game!
A white pinstriped Philadelphia Phillies home jersey, name "REYES", number 29.
INF/OF Felix Reyes will wear number 29. Last worn by INF Rodolfo Castro in 2023. #Phillies
The Exciting Paradox of Felix Reyes
Reyes has been one of my favorite under the radar prospects in the org for half a decade and I am excited for him. However, he is a player of extremes and you are betting on one of those showing up more than the others.
Hopefully Kemp is actually going to play left field every day. An underrated part of all of this is he only has 33 pro starts in LF, and 12 of them were during this spring. I know he worked out at OF all offseason but it was always a tough ask to throw him out there once a week with limited time
It makes way more sense to call up Seth Johnson now as a leverage arm than his previous cameo this season.
Félix Reyes has been called up by the Phillies. He will wear number 29
Gage Wood strikes out the side in the fourth, coming within one pitch of an immaculate inning. He adds another in the fourth to give him a career high 8. Wood’s final line for Clearwater is 3.1 IP, 2 hits, 1 run, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 Ks … 57 pitches, 40 strikes … Sat 95-97, T98
Really wondering how long the leash will be for Otto Kemp in left field
What a fun game
What an incredible debut from Andrew Painter. 5.1 innings 8 strikeouts, showed the full arsenal. Just absolutely electric
Andrew Painter filthy change up
Adolis Garcia has been hitting the ball hard so far this year. Just hit one the other way for his first Phillies homer
Andrew Painter curveballs are nasty
Andrew Painter strikes out the first batter he faces as a Phillie
The BABIP gods are angry and tonight is not a fun night to be at the game lol
Brandon Marsh ties the game!
Everything is coming up Felix Reyes. His broken bat RBI single gives Lehigh Valley a 1-0 lead
Quick 10 pitch inning from Orion Kerkering. Got up to 97 mph and got a strikeout looking on this frontdoor sinker
What a play by Justin Crawford!
3 strikeouts, 1 walk, 1 hit for Zack Wheeler in the first inning of his rehab appearance. Fastball up to 94 mph
It really is insane. I remember wanting to make him a reliever that spring since I thought that was really the only path to keeping him
8th inning 99 mph double
