Yes only reading through the core too. But after playing starterset, it seems TOR2e is harder to pass skill tests than YZ- unless we have just been temporarily plagued with bad rolls. Think due to this, will work out TN from 18 for the landmark in the core book then add 2 to TN for the campaign.

Nice, after we wrap up our CoC campaign soon we will be doing the landmark in the core book and then the Lone lands campaign too :)

Nice, what are you thoughts on the system? At a glance? Players liked it, although, have noticed dice rolls are tough. A lot of failed rolls and needing to burn through hope. But I kinda like it. I’m used to CoC and Vaesen so it’s been nice to study a new system (full campaign with core rules soon).

As a GM, I decided to try to create more immersion in the game & started playing with sounds & ambience for first time this evening (turned down really low to not cause distraction). For those that use sounds and ambience regularly, what do you use? I was using a mix of YouTube and tabletop audio.

Enjoyed starting GM’ing The One Ring 2e Starter set with my group today. Can tell this mini campaign will be a lot of fun :)

Even if it is a cost them, I’d be happy if physical products are a small fraction more expensive to cover the cost of hosting a pdf service.

For me there’s a clear expectation. If a book didn’t come with a free pdf I wouldn’t buy it. I prefer print but the pdf is so useful that it feels pretty essential.

Whenever I’ve bought a book I have always had a bits & mortar link or have been able to download from publishers.

Get to know your mutuals. List 10 things you’re into:

1. Running TTRPG’s
2. Playing TTRPG’s
3. Reading random TTRPG modules and smiling to myself at different ways I can mess up the players.
4. Metal music.
5. Buying TTRPG’s for a later date.
