It’d be interesting to see what happened if you had a publication where the critics only saw one film a week (but were somehow just as informed/articulate as if they were seeing 3 films a day) — how far would ratings differ from the average?

Jeffrey Epstein’s estate has given Congress a copy of the 2003 birthday book, including the letter with Trump’s signature that he has said doesn’t exist.

I guess this is the problem with having a political/campaign guy as CoS? The lens is how it looks not how it actually fixes the problem, which is antithetical to everything Starmer is theoretically about

Some pictures from the Budapest Pride march. There is an astounding amount of people marching! (The people in the front of the second picture are not even the first people in line and you can barely see the end of it!) #budapestpride

Who can say why people are questioning what this government stands for!

Today, I joined Goaldiggers FC on their 12 mile walk from East London to Wembley in protest against the FA’s decision to ban trans women from competing in women’s football.

You’re telling me that right wing voters that Labour was trying to appeal to voted for a right wing party anyway and left wing voters decided not to vote for Labour because they’re too right wing now? Who could have possibly predicted this.

To our trans friends:

We see you. We’re with you. Trans people belong – everywhere. Including in football.

The events of the last few weeks’ have been a result of a catastrophic failure of leadership and courage from our politicians, media, and society as a whole.

Women's sport is vastly underfunded, has numerous issues surrounding abuse, multiple events are pushed aside for the men's game and a stigma about picking up a sport as a young girl. All of these are vastly, vastly more important to tackle than the fake notion of trans women in sport being a threat.

Talk of a "re-education exercise" on the definition of austerity this morning made me feel sick.

My gentle suggestion to Labour frontbenchers – as someone who knocked on doors for them in the general election – is to stop trying to gaslight the country into thinking we're not heading back to austerity.

Gaslighting didn't work for the Tories, and it won't work for Labour.

Disabled people need greater financial support from the government – not draconian cuts that will drive more people into poverty. We're deeply concerned about the impact the benefit cuts announced today will have on disabled people.

Doesn't seem to be consideration of a u-turn on making PIP harder to get. Just on freezing the amount.

Stop cuts to disability benefits | Sense

The government is planning to cut disability benefits. This could have a devastating impact on disabled people.

We need as many MPs as possible to speak out against disability benefits cuts before they're announced as early as Monday.

Ask your MP now: action.sense.org.uk/page/167765/...

If this is about work, why are they — by all accounts — cutting Personal Independence Payment, which have nothing to do with whether you can work or not?

I think Trump really needs to prove how much he wants peace tbh. He's gambling with World War III.

The true extent of LGBTQ+ hate in football New figures show how big the problem is and how to fix it.

93.3% of LGBTQ+ people who took part in our survey said stronger enforcement of punishment for homophobia was likely or extremely likely to improve their experience of football.

The current state of affairs isn't good enough.

Any LGBTQ+ person who has been to a football match will understand why David Coote felt he had to hide his sexuality. And the causes for that are complex. But LGBTQ+ people in football deserve better than their hardship and struggles being treated as salacious gossip.
