The Pretty Princess. In my game The Depths Below, a player is randomly selected to be "the pretty princess", The princess kit/class is a bit slower and can't jump as high as the other players. She has very limited movement and has no way to defend herself. Now, the Princess class isn't something can be chosen, it is given through a level modifier in Arcade Mode. The princess can be picked up to get around levels that they normally can't alone. Only one player can be a Pretty Princess at a time, and if the princess dies, the level is considered a loss and everyone fails the run, so, it is most beneficial to keep the princess alive. The princess has 3HP and a chance to negate incoming damage. The Pretty Princess' official name is Jesse.

Not much can be said about the drawing itself, just something to get the creative juices flowing late at night. I suppose I can drop some lore for Danny- Danny 'Dan' McAllister is a vessel for a deity known as a Zealot, the zealot in particular is the Zealot of Death, he's actually the third and final vessel. In the world of TDB and DDS, he acts as a guide for lost souls and will even occasionally help the player. Danny is an ambitious but cunning person, a bit sarcastic, but overall just someone who wants everyone to be safe and sound. He wields a scythe, that's his favorite weapon. He's known for his striking blue 'soul-hair' and golden yellow bowtie. He wears a shepherd's jacket with a nice dress shirt and goggles. More about the Zealot and vessel stuff- Despite him being a 'god', there's not much he does, nor stuff that he wants to do. I wouldn't call him lazy, but he's definitely more of an opportunist, unless it benefits him, he's not gonna do anything. He uses the zealot of death's powers to benefit others, such as, sending those he deems true and of good intent to rest. His 'home', the Phantom Graveyard, is a refuge for these lost souls. He actually lives in a house lodged into some cave wall, it's very cozy with a garage for his mechanical works. Dan can actually choose between his Phantom forme and a Human forme, he stays in a phantom forme just because he doesn't mind it. He doesn't live alone in his cave shack, he lives with a lovely woman, Elizabeth Valentine. Uh...yeah, idk, not much there is to this guy. He's kinda cool I suppose, I'm just messing around LOL. Dan is pretty much an extension of myself a self-insert ), me if I was cool-er, haha.

This is Giselle, she's a type of Valkyrie, or maybe an Angel? She's going to be appearing in Drop Dash Solutions! Her role is to be a kind of adversary and guardian towards Nick. As with most of Nick's companions, they meet while fighting each other, after being bested in the 1v1. Giselle vows to protect Nick with her life. Now, I think it would be interesting to note that Giselle could also be a love interest to Nick!? Giselle finds herself in the depths to be apart of a guild that finds themselves to be "Holy Protecters" of Elodea and the Zealots, she is the eldest and 1st member of this guild. Now in the drawing, which is a w.i.p, her wings look like classic feathered wings, in DDS, her wings are going to be mechanical. 'Earning your wings', as the guild would call it, means you have officially earned your place as a Valkyrie/Angel. Her weapon of choice being a Chain Spear. In DDS, you would have the option to either save Marie or fight Giselle, now mind you, both of these interactions are optional and would not be required to reach the end. Oh and you can only befriend one, as a love triangle would just be kinda unnecessary lol.

You can play a very broken walking simulator version of it on Itch and GameJolt, I would rather you play something else though.
It’s really not in a state where I want anyone to look at it just yet.

Fun Fact about TDB, this game originally was going to be a one off thing, one last game using the Scratch engine and then I would go and learn Godot.
2 and half-ish years later, the game has had one player engine rework, story changes, and many hours of development time put in, it’s not even close-

Find a way back to the surface of Oblivion.

So far, it’s currently in an Arcade state where you and some friends can play with kits in a run&gun highscore mode.
The Story mode is still in development and might take awhile to even be shown in teasers.

I think I should explain what The Depths Below is on here-
So, The Depths Below (or TDB) is a Chaotic Multi-Vania (multiplayer metroidvania) where 4 robots, called drones, explore a hollow moon named Oblivion. You explore the really large cave dubbed Elodea.
