Very confused and coming down from an adrenaline rush from fear that I was on the wrong train. WOOOO
closed. I stood for a bit and waited until the train was announced in English and written on the scrolling screen. I WAS ON THE RIGHT TRAIN. At the next stop the mom and kid got off or changed seats, IDK which they just disappeared from my view. I am now sitting in my seat--
OMG guys I had a huge freakout. I got on the Hello Kitty train going to Kyoto with a reserved seat. I got on and a kid was sitting in my seat, their mom across from them.
I turn around to ask the conductor outside if I was in the wrong train. He couldn't help me, the doors were-

I have become obsessed with this little adorable fluff poof of a bird! There's tons of little trinkets of this guy all around Japan. I bought a big plush of it that doubles as a hand warmer!
