I think I just realized why Pinkie Pie loves her pet gator, Gummy, so much. Gummy rarely, if ever, displays emotion, not unlike one of Pinkie's sisters, Maud Pie. He partially serves as a reminder of Maud, who Pinkie loves more than anypony else in the world.

Call me a puritan, but I don't find the 'Princess Molestia' memes to be all that funny. Most of them stem from deliberate mischaracterization of Princess Celestia. Overall, I think the meme is a tasteless and shallow depiction of the character.

Compared to Nintendo, Sega is kinder to fan-made projects, but that's just it, they have gone after fanworks in the past a couple of times. I remember when there was a fan remake of Streets of Rage in development, and Sega took that down instantly.
