you will have to pry the millennial ālolā from my cold dead hands. i donāt know how else to express minor despair. if i didnāt say ālolā after admitting iām a husk inside, iād have to develop emotional resilience, and i simply donāt have time for that
A blue graphic with a snowboard and the title itās all in your head by Sabina Nordqvist with the Kirkus star review ā: an extremely slow burn that pays off exponentially
The same slide with a different quote: the sex is super hot. This one features Skyler from my cover sitting at the bottom with her phone and IIH socks.
The same slide with a different quote: a strong debut about characters who meet in the pause between pain and hope. This one has a pill from the cover of my book
The full excerpt: ā[A]n extremely slow burn that pays off exponentially. The sex is super hot. Because Skylar and Pike learn early to communicate about pain and limitations, theyāre great communicators by the time they do eventually hook up, which makes for some steamy dirty talk. Together they learn that while chronic illness comes with restrictions, their desire for one another does not. A strong debut about characters who meet in the pause between pain and hope.ā This one features pike from my cover standing with his cane leaning against the excerpt and a pair of his goggles. At the bottom it says itās all in your head is out February 10
So honored to share that Itās All In Your Head got a Kirkus Starred Review!! āļø
š a key moment in Heated Rivalry fits this trope so yes, yes indeed
and then thereās the variation where youāre standing awkwardly in the doorway until your secret hockey boyfriend says, ācome stay in my caaaabin, itās private, weāll have a great timeā and then the nurse comes in and asks if she should be worried youāre going to smother him with a pillow

Adored #SongSungBlue, especially the performance of Kate Hudson! This movie was so, so unbelievably kind in its handling of the real difficulties faced by low-income families, yet it was woven into this incredibly fun, singable, nostalgic story of Neil Diamond fandom, too. Fantastic.
Kate Hudson in her best performance is as Claire in Song Sung Blue. Jackman did a pretty good Neil Diamond but I loved him for the human side of Mike. A great Christmas movie for us.

Oh, I have a revision of an earlier novel that Iām sort of playing around with for fun while I REST and wait for notes on another project. Doing okay, in other words!!
You are an INCREDIBLE writer!! š„ŗ For the record. (But I know how those writing days feel, too)
Talking to one of these types at a con who asked how I 'got in' with so many 'famous writers' who I'd been talking to and I said "we made friends before anyone knew who we were decades ago by striking up interesting conversations and enjoying each other's company" and he kept re-asking the question.
If youāre someone who doesnāt emote much, Shane is so relatable. The real thought is always the undercurrent, whereas Ilya says the emotional part out loud. But then Ilya never calls him on it, like, āHey, you said to be honest with each other.ā He KNOWS that this IS Shane being open. #heatedrivalry
shane being gobsmacked at ilya calling himself his boyfriend after they professed their love and shane literally mapped out a whole 10 year twelve step plan for them to be together forever like you have to laugh #HeatedRivalry

To add to this - THE MEMORY HUNTERS is not inspired by the Middle Ages. Valerian IV does not wear plate armor. But she does have a sword, is sworn to guard her charge, and went to combat school. And I wrote her specifically to fulfill the princess/knight trope. Sapphically.
There is a cover of the book MAD SISTERS OF ESI. Below it is the text "Award Eligibility". Above it, it says: -The Washington Post: Best SFF Books 2025 -Reactor Magazine: Best Books: Reviewers' Choice - Winner: 2024 Subjective Chaos Kind of Award
MAD SISTERS OF ESI is eligible for awards this season:
wow apparently it's """"""""unacceptable"""""""" to say "I'm always a slut for maple bars" in a professional context
āReiner, 78, was an avuncular public figure through it all ⦠a quietly brilliant force in the industry, producing the kind of intelligent, varied #films no one could have expected from a man audiences once knew best as āMeatheadā.ā www.theatlantic.com/culture/2025... #RIP #RobReiner
I had a friendship (situationship?) just like this one, and Iāve always been grateful to this movie for capturing how it felt. Loved many of his other shows, as well, but this was my personal favorite. RIP, Rob & Michelle.

My love for em dashes is as old as the hills and as mighty as my inability to make a transition between thoughts literally any other way and I will be damned if I let the clankers take that from me

The āyouā of this novella was a heartbreaker. š Pitch perfect!!
Most economists agree that by age 50, you should:
- own at least one magic sword
- get advice from an enchanted bear skull
- be covered by a thin layer of moss & lichen
- disappear into a malevolent fog once a month
- become a creature of myth & legend in the old forest
