We can’t stay connected at all times. Not to work, not to news, and not to stress. And for me, the borders between work and not-work has become increasingly important. Being connected «just in case» is pointless.

My point is this; a week’s vacation and disconnect was just perfect.

At the beginning of last year I suffered from a hard case of burnout. My (old) job was grinding me to bonemeal, and I was not functioning.

During this easter vacation, I have gone out of my way to disconnect from work. Not an e-mail read, nor a trade publication.

Watching "No Sudden Move" (2021). Not the best movie I've seen, but full of style and it's got so much individuality through the use of anamorphic lenses. It's almost dreamlike. Surreal.

We’ve spent the quiet days catching up on the latest season of Stranger Things. The only reason I’m bothering is because it’s the final season, because if it hadn’t been I’d have given up by ep. 2. Such an unfocused mess. We need to let shows end sooner rather than later, on a high note.
