Teen is learning to drive.
Teen: there’s a guy in the road with his dog.
Me: this is where you say “move it motherfucker”. Go ahead. Say it.
Teen: Move it motherfucker. *smiles*
Me: didn’t that feel good?
Annnnnnd this years Okayest Mom Award goes to …..
Me.
I know. I haven’t posted in like 20 hot minutes.
But! My orchestra performed in August and it’s available on YouTube!

This is why I love fandom. It’s a community built around a shared belief or interest, giving us a starting point for our activism.
He calls me on speakerphone while on an overnight school trip.
Me: what’s up? What do you need money for?
Teen: I miss you and love you mom.
Me: You’re playing truth or dare and you chose dare, huh?
*background laughter from easily 5-10 teenagers*
Having a teenager is like adopting a feral cat. You have to feed it and give it shelter. And it rarely comes out during the day. And when it does it mostly just hisses at you.
I don't know who needs to hear this today, but Psyduck is our chronic illness and migraine baby and proof that mobility aids are for everyone.
If only all ICE were that out of shape and slow.
Especially goofy given if they choose to get the degree, they are then told not to focus on their own lived experience because they’re too close to it and biased. The end result of these two policies is no one with direct knowledge talking about it at all.
OMG the ears are even more pointy when he’s asleeeeep
The line-up looks great - please share, attend and donate if you are able
Hope everyone has an amazing day 💗💜💙
Following the sad cancellation of this year's Bi Pride, Libby and the team at @thisisbiscuit.org.uk have worked their asses off in just a couple of weeks with next to no budget to pull together the Bi+ Community Fair on Sun 31 Aug 💗💜💙

This is Homer in our house. He is a perfect little angel and I will hear nothing bad about him.
Things that never cease to fascinate me: When I stand up to assholes and get a bunch of DMs thanking me.
It’s not a super power. It’s literally just doing the bare fucking minimum.
She is a pretty princess and deserves to be treated as such.
Thank you!!!!
Look, friend, we listen and we don’t judge. 🤣

Image of a woman with brightly colored hair, various face piercings, and a tattoo of music around her neck with colorful music notes floating up the neck.
“Be badass but make it geeky.”
Bet.
Music and theatre are a huge part of who I am. What better way to celebrate them than to turn them into a tattoo?
Several bars from “One Day More” is now this chest and neck piece.
I will always stop and listen to this song.
Part of the reason I love music and arts is the community it creates. One of my friends is struggling in an uhealthy relationship and living situation.
As part of the community, I'm asking that if you can't donate here - to please reshare for visibility.

On this Monday morning of Hacker Summer Camp, I grant this blessing:
May the caffeine rise up to meet you.
May the buzz words be always behind your back.
May the badge-ins shine bright upon your tablet.
The Vegas ceilings not collapse upon your heads.
In summary- I absolutely agree with your response. I am highly anti-AI. And this person doesn’t actually understand their job. Or, they’re specifically scamming people by using fear. Which, tbh, is so much worse than just being dumb or bad at their job.
2) Most of us focus on optimizing for Google “AI summaries” which is 98% similar to traditional SEO. The TL;DR is the AI summaries spotlight content with statistics and research.
3) Problematically, as with all AI, it doesn’t credit the original source material, just the content citing the research
As a content marketing writer, I have Thoughts. I *hate* AI.
1) Her entire premise is sus. People research information that brands may discuss, not brands. ChatGPT does not provide sources unless you ask specifically. So “optimizing to control what ChatGPT says about you” is de facto a scam.
I took some time to escape from the insanity of the world and put down some rambling thoughts about the rise and fall of the summer blockbuster.
I realize that I may miss the 90s more than the 80s.
I’m in my cozy era.
Books about witches running inns or orcs running coffee shops.
When you google “cozy book,” you get mysteries.
Explain the thinking behind “let’s bake bcookies and kit sweaters while we figure out who killed this random person in our otherwise sleepy town” as a whole ass genre?
I LOVE this for you. So much.
I mean, but I have HAD your brownies and if you’ve only eaten a single row and not the whole pan, I’m impressed.
