Posts by Bryce Hundley still thinks Gandhi is the best movie

People need to pay close attention to this OLC opinion on the Presidential Records Act.

As @joshgerstein.bsky.social points out, nothing less than our own history is at stake.

Your point is well taken — if extremely depressing. I feel hopeless and powerless to affect it.

BUT

“anti-bedtime leftists” is one of the ages 🪦. Thank you for that.

Sadly I’m afraid it actually is pretty comparable.

Stopping at Family Video (or Blockbuster) on Friday evening was vastly more enjoyable than endlessly surfing 3 streaming services to find something to watch. My free time is too precious waste it like this.

I will remain bitter to the end about what was promised and what’s been taken away.

Yet never has so much been seen, so precisely, by so many people who understand so little of what they are seeing. A system can tell you where a man is. It cannot tell you what his death will mean for a nation. Such systems are trained on behavior, not on meaning — they can track what an adversary does but not what he fears, honors, remembers or would die for.

I genuinely think the president and many of his advisers, scammers, hustlers, and keyboard gangsters, don’t understand this concept at all and you can see it in the pattern of their mistakes from Minneapolis to Tehran www.nytimes.com/2026/03/29/o...

110% Apartments are the same. They're building 4-story apartment complexes 3-5 miles south and east of town, but every one is being built as a cul-de-sac. Great! Now you have neighbors on every side of you and you still can't walk to *anything.* Shoot me.

He's right AND...a general principle:

When companies break the law (pharma, finance, tech, whatever) and the govt prosecutes them, there should be *no* settlements. We need jury trials. We're not looking for taxation by other means. We're trying to stop the criminal behavior.

If open office is the same as what used to be called open office but changed its name to LibreOffice, I’m pretty sure it was developed by Sun Microsystems. Not sure what the Russian connection is.

No, the verdict in the ‘social media addiction’ lawsuit was not a win against big tech, it creates a legal precedent for mass surveillance, censorship, the total destruction of the open web.

from 1868 to 2025 there was little dispute about what the birthright clause meant and the idea that the past year has been some great scholarly debate is absurd. a handful of partisans and hacks have churned out junk so that the president can get what he wants. that’s it.
