Trump is within sight of an under 30% overall approval rating.
One of the most important causes right now is to establish a media narrative and popular support behind severe punishments and consequences to our present criminals running things.

"If a street is designed like a gun barrel, people will drive like bullets."
Nice turn of phrase.
If you were Tom Flood that would already be on a t-shirt.
I need my eyes checked because I first read it as the Ida Wells Ward, and thought that was very nice for Salt Lake.
Unsolicited, amateur advice: I appreciate the alleyways/rear garages so they don't look like loading docks with homes on top. Needs bike lanes.
I'd say consider front porches.
I'm really not an AI guy, but I wanted to know what it would look like for a slightly taller Barron to take on Tokyo.

I think we need to add "No Dynasties" to our "No Kings" policies.
Apologies in advance to Chelsea.
Otherwise, we'll have an 80-foot-tall Barron Trump III to fight in a few years.
OK, I'm on record as being against the whole car dominance earth-destruction thing.
That said, nothing is more satisfying than being able to fix something with a $40 part and a YT video to guide you. Thank you, Honda, for making it easy to snap panels off.

A perfect pairing. Flawless.
This is the first bizarro-land news that is actually a good thing.
We've been regularly challenged by "This Isn't ****ing Real" moments like, oh, RFKjr being in charge of vaccines or Kash Patel being taken seriously about...anything.
So, for once, the irony meter points toward justice.
Wholeheartedly agree
Perhaps the same reason people swing their arms: balance
Another example demonstrating that the federal science and research ecosystem is being seriously damaged regardless of what’s ultimately appropriated
I have been thinking of big dumb truck ownership in terms of different, overlapping buckets:
- Rural cosplay/manliness signaling
- Aspirational (someday I'll tow a boat to the lake)
- Fear (big car safe, but flip easily)
- Marginal use (I drive this to the office, but I do tow a boat 2x a year)
For sure, you see a ute, and you realize that all that Mad Max stuff isn't too difficult a projection.
I get that it is often tough to find space in the denser East Coast metroplex for paths like this, but if you have room to build endless developments and shopping centers, you probably have 15 feet to do this.
Bike paths should be mandatory with new development in every community.
The older I get the more I realize that rugged individualism is a myth.
For every self made man there are 1000 kids with rich dads. For every independent suburbanite, there are millions in hidden government subsidies.
Oh, while I'm making wishes and since 'tis the season:
* A simplified tax code
* Tax loans for wealthy folks borrowing against assets, break that Buy-Borrow-Die cycle
They need a plan for what happens when they return to power, and they need to start selling it to us now.
* Medicine
* Environment
* Science
* Foreign Policy
* Immigration
* Infrastructure

Treat it as an opportunity for nation-building. A new deal, as it were.
A man wearing a bicycle helmet rides a bicycle.
Musician, environmentalist, and politician Peter Garrett rides in his capacity as Australian Minister of the Environment, Heritage and the Arts in 2009.
Happy #BicycleBirthday, Peter!

Mind you, I knew an anatomist who would collect roadkill to create teaching tools. But that's understandable.
Kennedy is a lawyer.
It is weird that I can now cite three instances where the Secretary of Health and Human Services did strange things with an animal corpse.

I'm so sorry for your family.
You always know that pets won't be there forever, but it is a cruel loss for him to go so soon.
You may be correct. I have attempted to read two of Pinker's pop sci books and each time found myself skimming chapters.
They made a big deal of kicking non-compliant reporters out of the Pentagon last year.
I also found his book on writing to be overwritten. He took 385 pages to explain what E. B. White outlined in the introduction of a 100 page book.
I logged in to find 200 notifications, which took 10 minutes to load while I panicked about what stupid thing I said yesterday.
Turns out it was just the last week or two of notifications.
This movie is fantastic. Not perfect, but funny and poignant.
So, we have science deniers running EPA
Quacks running HHS
Real estate devs running foreign policy
Idiots running DOGE
Anti-Gov't Theorists running OMB
and Trump's personal lawyer running the DOJ
Yeah.
I think the Dems should have built a shadow cabinet to report on what Trump's motley crew of weirdos is doing wrong. Reports with handy summaries in plain English.
Also, report on what DOGE cuts cost us & and the real-world toll.
Also, they should have their act together. A vision would be nice.
That was outstanding.
