Federal judge unloads on ‘unserious’ RFK Jr., says anti-trans policy showed his ‘cruelty’ Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai vacated the “Kennedy Declaration,” finding it unlawfully attempted to override medical standards and restrict care for transgender youth.

Breaking: HHS’s ban on gender-affirming care is struck down. Rarely have I read a ruling this sharply worded.

“This case is one of a long list of examples of how a leader’s wanton disregard for the rule of law causes very real harm to very real people.”

I don't recall any previous transformative technologies that had to be sold to the public so hard. No one in 1999 was going, "Guys. Cell phone? It's coming, whether we like it or not. I think it's important, FOR WOMEN ESPECIALLY, to learn about cell phone. So that we're not left behind!!"

It’s nice when I get get the Mets L out of the way before my Friday evening plans.

I apologize for the long rant on this Friday morning, but no rage I feel about the Mets can eclipse the limitless contempt I feel for these stupid, evil people.

In addition to all of the devastation of losing a career I loved, being brainwashed into thinking I deserved to lose my job is what finally resulted in me going full no contact with the Fox News branch of my family, which was incredibly painful!

This is all not not mentioning the contempt he clearly has for civil servants, who have thanklessly served their country and gotten nothing in return but insults and psychological torture. In the eyes of the public, including some members of my own family, these people made me into the bad guy.

These clowns sold the public on this idea that the government was bloated and "inefficient" and the fat needed to be trimmed. And now agency leadership is outright admitting that was a lie.

He just fully admitted in front of Congress that he executed an illegal retaliatory RIF procedure based on issues not reflected in our personnel records. The positions weren’t abolished. This wasn’t a reorg. We were replaced by ideologues.

A screen shot of a Reddit post detailing an exchange between HHS Secretary RFK Jr. and Rep. Hoyer during the House Appropriations Committee hearing.

Secretary: “We are now at 72,000 and we’re hiring 12,000 new employees. We will have made up all the employees that we lost and we’ve replaced them with a better group of people who are actually going to address chronic health.”

Rep. Hoyer: “Your judgment is that the the other uh 20,000 that were reduced not were not capable, were not motivated?”

Secretary: “It’s not my judgment. It’s the record. They presided over the biggest decline in health in the history of the world. We now have the sickest generation in history. We have the sickest population on the face of the earth. That is a failure of government. They weren’t looking at chronic disease. They were focused on other things and they did nothing to prevent the food dyes, the bad food, all of the things that are making us sick. It was their job to protect us and they did not do it. They failed at their jobs and if this was private industry, they would have all been fired. Oh, we did what we had to do to change the culture at these agencies. So, they’re now doing what they can do to pretend that they’re what they were hired to do, which is to protect the health of our country and restore us once again to the healthiest country in the world.”

This RFK Jr. quote from the House Approps hearing makes me want to go into one of those rage rooms where I get to swing hammers and break shit.

I feel awful for those kids. I’m going to need the “why doesn’t she just leave” crowd to pay CLOSE attention and look at me when I say this: he will kill her anyway. Usually with a gun.

I guess 2024 (an unexpected NLCS appearance - the best thing we get to hope for) used up all the good Mets karma for the decade, I don’t even know man.

Yeah I think that’s coming eventually if they don’t start playing better soon.
