Working on my self-image/self-esteem was not a solution to my immediate problems. But it did increase my general mood, made me actually -like- myself and seems to help me move towards a life that I want instead the one that I simply have.

Can recommend working on this if you feel the need.

Over the last year, I've followed a programme ("Negatief Zelfbeeld" by Manja de Neef)to get a more realistic self-image together with a therapist.

Looking back, I feel that it worked. Measurably (rosenberg self-esteem score went from 10->18)

The effects are far more diffuse than I though.

Personal growth: During an episode of ADHD 'freeze' at least being able to find solace in (at least partially) accepting that this is part of being this way.
