The only advice I give new parents are 1. You are going to feel like you hqve no idea what you are doing. Everyone does. You learn on the job, and there will be mistakes. But you will get it right more than wrong.
2. Find the boundaries, and be consistent with them.
Some people just like to focus on the negative. Look, you will have a couple/few months of hardly sleeping. You are going to be dealing with diapers for 2-3 years. You are going to hwve this tiny human completely dependant on you 24/7. You will also have love, and giggles, and milestones, and joy.
Why would anyone want to lecture you on that? Having a baby is and will be exhausting at times, but it is also so rewarding. It is such a joy that it is hard to describe. You deal with the hard parts as thy come, but the good parts will be worth it.
The negative here is a lot less interactions. Things are quieter here in general, and has been increasingly quite since the beginning of the year it seems. Not just WOT people, though I miss them the most.
I enjoy it here because there is less negative interactions. The block button works well when there are. Plus there is a lot less rage bait fishing for clicks. Seems like almost every post or response on Twitter is as outrageous as possible to get reactions.
You did better than I would have.

Sitting here thinking about the fans I missed seeing here at #Jordancon2026 and many that I haven't seen on Blueskyfor a long while. I miss so many of my extended #WheelOfTime family.
