Animorphs Readathon #19
Probably the closest this series has so far to digging into why war is terrible and that no one really wins, even if it has to end in the way it does. Cassie is starting to become a real contender for best stories

The Animorphs cased the dinosaurs to become extinct and Rachel keeps being separated from the rest of the gang. Fun enough romp but nothing major

Tragedy in losing the first one of your own kind that you've seen in months by them turning traitor makes this a fulfilling read, even if it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Ax is always a fun read
Also, finally caught up to where I'm reading now
LRT: need to find a sugar daddy purely so I can get the remaining old Kamen Rider Blu-rays that I'm missing
Kamen Rider Stronger!
The final series from the original run of Kamen Rider features a hero stronger than all, who will need help from all who came before!

Probably the least aged well book as of now. Lots of "nuts" jokes that feel somewhat out of place but this was written in the 90s so that tracks.
Still enjoy how this overall ends and Rachel showing more nerves is a nice pace change for her character

If Bill Gates was even crazier than he already is, now with the hint of a way for the yeerks to live in bodies forever, this is a good start to an (unfortunate) short story arc
Animorphs Readathon #15
Marco's loss of their mom is still very sad, and aliens that can read minds is a fun concept that doesn't really get taken advantage of yet

This is the first space epic of the series, and while it's very derivative from a lot of other stories, it also lays down so much lore that it's a must read. So much opens up due to this book that feels like it should have came out a dozen books later than it did
Yeah man for sure rice shower
Animorphs Readathon #13
This always felt like it came halfway through the series, not so early. Major plot changes thanks to Blue God allowing some fucked up deals with the devil. Poor Tobias having his secret wish still being a bird but able to morph. Very melancholic
Animorphs Readathon #12
This book is silly, but in a way that mostly fits the series. The ending is a bit absurd, but it's a good glimpse in how the 90s were with celebrity culture. Fun time

Yeah I didn't really enjoy this. Maybe because I was in a half daze while reading but the time gimmick didn't click. Sorry Jake.
Animorphs Readathon #10
This book had some very deep passages for children about how anger only makes you sick after awhile and how it's hard to ever really be "happy" it also introduces androids that were made by dog aliens so that's neat
One of the best so far
Animorphs Readathon #9
Cassie is such an interesting character that has to grapple with her morals more than anyone else in the group as well as having to help save the world
Unfortunately this book has the worst ending by far for the series to this point and I get why, but hampered the story

This was the first animorphs book that I ever personally owned (first read was the squid one) and it means a lot to me. I love Ax being an absolute menace as well as being a child soldier not knowing what the best thing to do is, regarding laws from your fascist species
Animorphs Readathon 7.5
Not gonna lie, this is probably my least favorite book so far. Didn't care for the amnesia subplot, and while I like the idea of the creature hunting their morphing power, I just didn't feel this one

I've been watching this channel since near the end of the Family library and it's how I fall asleep every night.
HIGH RECOMMENDATION from me, way underrated

Divorce is hard. Finding out that your life may be controlled by a blue alien God that psychology torments you into finding the "right" answer is harder. Probably.
Animorphs Readathon #6
I've been sick for like a month, so I can understand the horror of being stuck inside your own brain, unable to do anything at all. Horrifying ending for the book

Marcoooooooo you fool, you absolute child, your swag too strong, your relatability too powerful, your humor too cringe I feel bad for your mom
