I’ve been trying to put to words how I feel and Helen did it perfectly. Authors, please remember agents are human too. I know it’s hard out there, but vicious words will not make it any easier.

Quickest way to get blocked by every agent is to message one of our friends calling them names and threatening them because they rejected you. This is an industry where you will get rejected by someone. Agents get rejections as well. But if you lash out you only hurt yourself.

My goal is to answer all 38 by the end of the month!

The take away here is that no AI and also… be sure your pages are the BEST they can be. That means:
1. Edit, edit, edit
2. Have other eyes on the project and query package
3. Take space to come back at a later time with fresh eyes.

Hang in there folks, querying is SO hard BUT agents truly are doing their best with the situation we have. Limited time to work, inundated with queries and a want/need to reply to them all. We’re doing what we can within our limits. It may not be the ideal scenario, but we’re trying. 🫶
