Is it you or your shell I see in front of me? Cries from the sea I hear under the moon. Think you can come from the clouds above and sweep and swoon me off my feet? Like we never skipped a heartbeat? Do you not see or peep the vibes and how I'm tired of the lack of push and pull from you? Your dark side always as mysterious as the moon and my raging fire with the strength to see you through. You knew deep down you saw what we could be and yet never yearned for more. But funny how you never stopped having those thoughts of me in your bed under your Egyptian cotton sheets. You told me I saw heaven through your tears and it's your fears of true intimacy that cause our inconsistencies to occur. What is it that you prefer, or do you seek something in return? You watched me as I burned my heart for you, and you emerged from my pains glistening like sun rays. I prayed for change from you and now christened by my sweet lust you have seen through the eyes of a fallen angel.
