Pick up the nearest book, turn to p. 42, and post the second sentence:
'The strength of the elements in KG 4 had gone down from 83 He 111s on July 5 to 64 on the last day of the month, and StG 1 had been almost cut in half, from 120 to 64 Ju 87s.'
When it was introduced to Britain it had a very effective ad campaign fronted by Paul Hogan.
There's been a lot of false dawns on this. Are we sure this is the one?
HE SAID THE 'R'-WORD!
I loved the 'Jin' comic, and remember being in Japan when the TV series came out. However, haven't gotten around to watching it on Netters yet.
That's not a doctor, that's an apothecary!
I just pee'd myself a little at that last shot.
It's called 'Supergirl makes a cup of tea correctly.'
Go Gail!
Next time show them 'Barefoot Gen', a gentle kid's cartoon about Hiroshima.
The box of SPI's air combat wargame 'Air War'.
I played the shit out of this between my O-Level high school exams.
Bookworm.
Both are reasonable modes of movies.
Giving nothing away, did you have fun? Afer all, we don't often see you in front of the camera doing silly stuff.

I was tickled by your shout-out to John Dower. A lot more people need to read him. And not just 'War Without Mercy'.
I’m going to red team this. I think I’d do nothing in response to this bluster. I’d maintain opsec. Move or hide my missiles where feasible. Then withstand a few days of bombardment, before striking a couple of tankers and some land-based facility to make a point. Rinse and repeat.
Fucking Wehraboos.
The replies are priceless.
Too soon. :D
I'll dance a little jig when that happens. She's quite dangerous.
At least it's less noisy now.
B-but those Libertarians spent years telling me that markets were rational and that everything should be left to them!
Your navy is crap. Oh, and can you please sail it into this blender that is so lethal that we hide our aircraft carriers in the radar shadow of Oman's Jibāl al-Ḥajar mountain range?
Yes, he was referring to Linebacker II, an operation that the Socialist Repubic of Vietnam celebrate as a great victory, having shot down 15 B-52s and damaged 9 more. But Nixon got the POWs back from Hanoi, so he could puff it as a victory even though the North Vietnamese came out ahead.
Not just drones either. It's within range of MLRS and the larger tube artillery.

That said, you Yanks didn't have to put up with Ridley and Tony's duelling adverts for bread in the 1970s and 80s. They were beautifully lit, but interminable.
