We need your help to take the Home Office to court.
EU citizens waiting for EU Settlement Scheme decisions are being effectively trapped in the UK. 🧵⬇️

⚠️A sanction for missing a jobcentre appointment can be more severe than a criminal fine—and more damaging.
This isn't helping people into work. It's pushing them into crisis. Read our research with the Central England Law Centre.⤵️

Delighted to be talking at this event this evening on such an important topic on behalf of @publiclawproject.bsky.social.
⚡️Why we took action:
After 30 years of neglect, the legal aid system is in crisis. We need more than sticking plaster solutions!
The Government must go further and listen to people who have been left without access to justice.
We demand a sustainable, well-funded legal aid system for all! ✊🏽
Come and join PLP! It's such a brilliant organisation to work for with lovely people and this is a unique opportunity to shape our work in the philanthropy space.
