FYI if you’re talking about the #Artemis II mission and you want to get the spaceflight terminology right, the mission is “crewed,” not “manned.” (NASA made the terminology change official decades ago, so this isn’t new, but a lot of folks just aren’t aware.)

A short Jupiter animation (20 mins) from last night observation. Europa is transiting from the left.

There seems to be an outbreak on the SEB near GRS. It wasn't there the last time I was out (4-5 days ago).

A slightly detail view. Smaller ROI from Sharpcap, 640x640. Collected about 20k frames, and stacked the best 10%.

12-days of observation.

Weather prospect is not good for tomorrow, so I guess this will be my final sequence on AR4294 & AR4296.

The sky was so cloudy this morning that the image came out soft, and I don’t think it will get any better in the day goes by. Probably my last sequence.

11-days of continuous observation on sunspot groups AR4294 and AR4296

I think this exceeds my previous record back in 2011-2012

Day-11.

AR4294 & AR4296
2025-12-10 01:49 UTC

High clouds, but slightly better seeing. Both groups are already facing away. Making it a bit tricky to compare the size to Earth.

Day-10 - 2025-12-09 02:11 UTC

AR4294 and AR4296 are slowly turning away from us, towards the western limb.

Sky was not perfect, high and low clouds. Couldn't get enough frames for better signal-noise ratio.

Day-9. 2025-12-08 02:10 UTC

AR4294 & AR4296

Thin high clouds today, thus making the view softer and less 'crispy'.

Both sunspot groups are now beginning to turn away from Earth, moving towards the west limb of the Sun.

Day-8 observation on AR4294 and AR4296

Seeing condition was below average. Fluffy fast flying low clouds creating non-stop turbulence.

Day-7 observation on sunspot groups AR4294, AR4296

and.. i'm already exhausted!

Seeing was not great this morning. Creating havoc when I tried combining the two frames in ICE. The seeing changed alot within 30 minutes!

Day-6 observation on sunspot groups AR4294 & AR4296

According to spaceweather, it was still a very 'quiet' group, despite being really massive and complex.

Today, AR4294 is facing Earth, with its sibling AR4296 trailing nearby and should be facing us tomorrow or Sunday.

Day-5 observation on the giant sunspot groups, AR4294 and AR4296.

Today, it was cloudy in the morning, and it cleared up 2pm, at the worse possible time! 😅 seeing was terrible and had to limit to a few good frames.

AR4294 & AR4296

2025-12-03 04:21 UTC (12:21 pm MYT)

Worsening sky in Kuala Lumpur. High clouds and hazy.
Both group is still massive.

My estimation the total length of both group spans at least 30 times Earth's diameter.

Yesterday there was this X-class solar flare event coming from a new sunspot, AR4299.

As it turns out, this is just a 'small-ish' sunspot group! Nothing like its big brother AR4294,AR4296.

Size does not matter! 😃

Seeing was really bad and cloudy.
