I love stamps, I would’ve been delighted to get a stamp in Barcelona, but I didn’t because I followed the system as instructed. How is this a me problem?

Honestly, depending on how the elections in May go, I’m actively pursuing leaving the UK.

Because I used the EES machines and the automated gates, I didn’t get a stamp.

So I had to show her the ticket for my flight into Barcelona and she eventually let me through.

The passport expires in November anyway, so it doesn’t matter, but realistically what should I have done differently?

Forgive the rant, but I’m truly baffled by what we’re supposed to be doing when we arrive at airports now as British (or other non-EU) people.

I just got told off at Toulouse airport because she couldn’t find an entry stamp for my arrival into the EU.

Ugh, and by country, I meant COUNTY! Gin from England isn’t special, gin from Cumbria in France is magnificent.

Also Carcassonne being fit as fuck, as per.

Drinking a G&T made from gin from my home country whilst gazing at the Pyrenees is kinda life goals, I can’t lie.

I think it’s the placing about Czechia which really shook me! 😜

I hate how in foreign countries I default to saying „the check“ because I assume they’re more acquainted with American rather than British English.

I have yet to watch the full episode of the British SNL, but the clips on YouTube are solid. What’s also so lovely to see is other comics supporting it and their fellow comedians.

As Brits (eww) its so normal to hate on everything, and this feels important to support overall.
