Posts by Be1mont lotr
I love #lotr merchandise but you will never see me buy a funko pop. I just can't do it. I got one and only one. One funko to rule them all... it's Bob Ross. Who did you think I was talking about?
Uh oh forgot about blue sky again. Hi I'm pete and you may know me by Belmont. I make ridiculous LOTR content for no reason due to know way too much about the lore and books.
Don't have to follow me but just know I will never stop.
Also this account is everyone, and that will never change
Spread the love and acceptance #pridemonth

I post about LOTR all the time. Maybe I should make min videos and post here too?? #lotr
Is that Ar-Pharazôn????
Athrabeth Finrod ah Andreth
- An excerpt from Morgoth's Ring, it's a discussion about mortality between Finrod Felgaund, brother of Galadriel and Andreth, a mortal woman who loved Finrod & Galadriels brother, Aegnor. Its the culmination of Tolkien's thoughts about the relation of elves and men.
8/8
Aragorn
- Yes you can read Lord of the Rings but some of his backstory is feature in the Unfinished Tales as well as the appendices of LOTR.
It's a fun read to learn not only about his heritage but his love story with Arwen.
7/8
Ar-Pharazôn
- The last king of Númenor and his story is a lesson as well as the culmination of the gifted island. It's a heavy read but one of the bests out of the Silmarillion
6/8
Aldarion and Erendis
- One of the most gut wrenching tales from Númenor due to the failure of these two ill fated lovers. But it gives perspective not only into Númenor culture and geography but the issues of longevity of life being bestowed to the Númenóreans, especially the line of kings.
5/8
Tal-Elmar
- an amazing tale from the Peoples of Middle-Earth, giving us some perspective into the colonization of Middle-Earth by Númenóreans.
4/8
Tuor and the coming to Gondolin
- I recommend this story next due to the fact Tuor is Túrin's cousin. The stories parallel eachother but subvert it a bit. Tuor though is one of the greatest heroes to exist in the legendarium and him meeting Ulmo will give you chills.
3/8
Túrin Turambar/ the Children of Húrin
- it's a dark tale about the sins of our fathers and how they carry over as well as the tragic hero cycle being applied to medieval fantasy. 2/8
The Mannish stories of #Tolkien always stand out more than anything else. Here are a few of my favorites if you all wanna get into some aspects that aren't a #elves, #dwarves, or #hobbits. 1/8
My friend, it would be a pleasure to be able to hang again.
Cool, hit 200 followers on this app. Here's a fact about #lotr: Theoden did not go to Edoras after Isengard. He went back to Helms Deep, and it's there that Aragorn uses the Palantir, wresting control of it and mastering the seeing stone. It's only after Aragorn leaves, that they return to Edoras.
Ayyy I'm on the blue sky. In Sindarin, it would be Menel Luin Amirite? Just talkin' #tolkien here.
Thank you so much for the support!! Any lore you wanna know about?
Hmmm good point, what content would you want to see ?
Thanks as always!
Already on it! Thank you
One thing I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around as a #lotr content creator is where to post now with so much negativity around Meta and the Tik Tok ban. I started a YouTube channel but i have no idea what I'm doing.
I'd post here but it's only one minute videos right?
Stoppp y'all teach me so much, especially you and all the Tolkien ladies. Completely flip my view of these books and teach me new lore all the time.
Either will suffice! Or both!
I love Frodo's "oh shit what did Bilbo give me" moments in Shadow of the Past. Buckle up ya fat fifty year old hobbit. You're gettin' your soul torn up 🤪.
Ah Lothlorien is such an amazing chapter. Top three for me. Also gonna read The Old Forest tonight 👀.
Sounds like some unfinished tales is next !
It's so claustrophobic I love it.
