Some come #Canadian #Scout history. These are a complete 2nd edition set from 1969, the hardcover, "waxed" cover, and softcover.
These were the handbooks we used when I was a Scout.
The hardcover edition is on the left, the softcover on the right. Previous to 1919 Canadian Scouts used either the UK or the US versions of the Scout Handbook. This was the first time a Scouting Handbook was written specifically for Canadian Scouts.
I can't even express how much of an effect joining #Scouts had in my life. I was a member, a leader, a trainer for close to 30 years.
I acquired a lot of #ScoutsCanada #BoyScoutsOfCanada stuff in that time.

1 of our cats escaped the house 3 days ago. She's gotten out before but we always "found" her a few hours later.
We live a little rural and we feard we lost her to the local coyotes or the fox we keep seeing.
I saw her sneaking under the barn tonight and we managed to get her back inside.
So happy
That's when the keg comes uncoupled, the filling hose comes loose, and I'm now standing in a stream of cider at 10psi and just slightly above freezing.
Finish the day, wet, sticky, and a little cold. There are days I like my job, but this definitely wasn't one of them.
Took a cider shower today and I really only have myself to blame.
End of a long day and a long week. Filling kegs for the upcoming weekend and the keg filler is not cooperating. I get frustrated and bang the keg against the floor, while it's filling.
