I'd add a little bit to this Pixel. I tested the then MoltBot when it had initially hit the hype attention point. This was relatively early in its dev and as I encountered had some instabilities. OpenClaw as is now, is continuing its dev and improving but it's different from what we're doing

Yeah, there was a lot of hype about MoltBot / OpenClaw. There's still a lot of interest and fundamentally the concept is very much where things are going. This just showed me that it was early days.

It's not yet at a point where it's useful. I've run a deep trial of it over the last three days. While it can stay running indefinitely, communicate through messaging apps and run autonomously, it's highly erratic, forgets what it's doing and takes big risks.

I setup #clawdbot/ #moltbot/ #openclaw as name iteration seem to have run, 3 days ago, gave it a massive Obsidian memory set I already had for #ClaudeCode. Result? Rapid chaotic lurching potential mess! Like your most talented mate that went on a huge charlie bender! This is not ready for dev... yet

I’ve had one for about 2 years. I use it for drifting off to sleep with podcasts playing just to me. My mum’s good one now and too. They are reasonably comparable and hold a charger for a few nights listening 👍
