Really looking forward to playing this today! Kingdoms and Castles is one of my favorite 'chill' games and Nova Roma looks like a great successorπ.
in-universe, kind of an interesting social difference between Starfleet and the Romulans - rarely do Federation captains talk to other ships from their ready rooms. I can think of only a few instances, like The Wounded in TNG.
Maybe Romulans don't want their bridge crew hearing them?
Has there been any explanation to the Crystal, or to any of his rock/fossil decorations beyond "archeology things" ? The crystal feels like it was a present from Beverly and he just always has it out π
I spent a lot of my childhood reading that manual! I like to imagine they integrated components of that headquarters with the later spacedock. Your render/model looks amazing nice work!
I always thought them having multiple PADDs seemed silly when I watched this show, but attempting to multi task on an actual tablet shows you they had the right idea π
I recently learned that Gene Roddenberry told William Ware Theiss, the designer of the Star Trek TOS uniforms, that in the future people don't have pockets...
They just stick things to their clothes instead.
Now I keep noticing everyone is just sticking their phasers to their pants ππ
A "Star Trek West Wing" show that is heavy on characters with a background growing conflict with the Romulans would be SO interesting .
I have always felt the "Birth of the Federation" should have been the heart of Enterprise, and giving it another shot would be fun to see.
That was my first though too, it has that "strand illustration" look to it too!
Literally what i was wondering, really cool!
You're so good haha
nice π
I read a funny (old) Starlog article a while ago that one of the extras was SO excited they made a really complicated alien design for themselves independent of the production. Apparently they just went with it, and they're in this scene somewhere - I've always been curious where!
My top two are Ecco the Dolphin and Sub Terrania. Both also happen to have great soundtracks!
oh duh I thought the bottom image was a zoom in I missed!
Carry on the good work π€
Do you think it's possible they cheat sometimes using the Star Trek Sticker Book?
I swear this was one of those stickers!
Exactly what I was thinking - nice bit of directing there.
It's got to be A right? Usually other people are sitting in it to be comfortable, not him!
That's great. You see his pin a lot, but not in great detail. I always liked the kind of groovy styling on the UFP at the top. I'll have to pick this up when it's out!
Menu (cover) shot.. π
Besides some funnel paint work, she's looking really good! That ship's been doing so much better now that the city of Long Beach is in charge.
I remember there were some Starlog interviews with Walter Koenig that were all titled "Chekov's Enterprise" - I wonder, did he combine them all into a book, or is it related?
rude! π
oo! I'll have to try putting out grapes! Catbirds are great - usually I only see them when they eat the oriole oranges π
I grew up reading these - my parents thought comics when I was a kid were too violent so I have LOTS of this era comics they picked up at garage sales and flea markets! I've always like this cover a lot too.
I loved this book as a kid! I read it so much the pages fell out π
glad the falling-through-ghast bug is getting squashed before I experienced it! Ive been using Happy Ghasts a lot for vertical building so that could be pretty unfortunate!
I love-hate this game. It's SO hard but the format/style is so cool. Even if you cheat with a Game Genie it's TOUGH.
needs more shark!
Im really liking the pictures having a tab for Remastered and Oblivion!
These are great pictures, thank you! I wonder what ever happened to these shuttles?
