Just watching the Horizons recreation on a loop these last few days

Pre-opening, we had breakfast at Tusker House, and could not for a second believe something this pretty and detailed was quick service. Unfortunately it then met the fate of so much opening day DAK.

Brunelleschi's emgineering on that is incredible, it's just not that architecturally interesting to me.

I much preferred Annunziata a couple blocks up.

Pro Tip: Skip Florence entirely, or do 2 hours at the Uffizi and bounce. Mainly to see the Botticelli.

And even then, get ready for endless Madonna and Child on gold backgrounds.

Just booked our first Disney Cruise!!

Disney Adventure out of Singapore in May.

I woke up at 2AM because i'm so jet lagged from my Madrid arrival yesterday, so there is no way in hell I'm going back to Europe for a loooong while.

Singapore is a tight 8 hours.

Our original May trip has been canceled (thanks America!), and we're considering Disney Adventure out of Singapore.

Should we? We love cruises but have never done DCL because the prices seem insane.

Also I detest Marvel, worth mentioning.

I really hate that Disney has decided the "more Disney" means super basic cartoony stuff. Disney to me was always the massive amounts of tiny details and this redesign is what people who have never been to WDW already think "Disney" is, and why a lot don't want to come here.

See i loved Sistine but I like every inch art coverage and Michelangelo's weird style.

Also loved Laocöon and the Francis Bacon Velazquez paintings, shame I couldn't enjoy anything else.
