The RJ experience has been pretty rough at both ends of the floor so far…

RJ is just a mess in transition…
He’s really forcing out there and it’s not great!
Freezer rips, I didn’t realize there was a new PONY album released this year!
I worry about Gillis being able to effectively bridge the gap between ownership. But Mehta and Cassidy seems great on paper so I’m excited for the Leafs to do the complete opposite.
Yeah but they were good enough to move the goal posts in the first place. Lots of room to improve but it’s been a fun season, and they’ve done well against the teams in their tier (Hawks, Magic, Heat, even the Cavs)

It does seem pretty clear that he can’t be on the roster right now…
Don’t really see how Schneider can justify throwing him out there with a one run lead given how much he’s struggled
Yeah I think that’s more on Schneider. They need a win today, you can’t have little out there with a one run lead.
This feels more on Schneider. You need a win today, you can’t have him out there with a one run lead.
Really didn’t like this episode from either an entertainment or outcome perspective. It just highlighted why they don’t have 17 people on one tribe - because there’s no logical way to eliminate people. Also Jeff really oversold it, there’s no way this is ever coming back in other seasons.
I’m not sold on Gillis. I think you want someone in the Mark Shapiro mould - knows the game well, but can also manage up and make Ed feel special so that he keeps spending money on the team. Mehta does seem really interesting as a GM candidate though.
Do you think Jeff’s blood moon twist is going to change Survivor forever? Because it seems… exactly the same.
Plus even if you want to trade Matthews/Nylander etc., you’re probably better to do that when they’re healthy and performing better so you’re at least selling high. And we see teams go from being great to terrible in a season literally all the time.
Yeah I’m surprised to see a number of usually level headed media essentially declare everything hopeless. Like the overwhelming likelihood is that the window is closed, but with no pick next year, you’re not really risking anything but at least trying to turn it around.
Especially because JJ has NAW absolutely balling out. Ingram’s been solid but Atlanta has the deeper roster.
They’ve also likely got an IL spot for Ponce so they can get a few fresh arms
I doubt it, they probably just didn’t want to make Treliving fire Berube and then fire him the next day. Now Pelley can just do it himself after the season.
Which is funny given how little damage seems to have been done from being terrible at hockey.
There’s also no winning for the Leafs. A staged fight is pointless, do nothing and the media will call you soft, if someone two hand slashes him in the ankle they’ll get a lifetime ban and everyone will pretend the Leafs are the dirtiest team in the league.
Gotta save that for the show tomorrow
They’re getting a ton from him but also are the Magic ok?
That’s a beautiful swing, he crushed that
Not bringing Nance in there is was certainly a decision
2026 #BlueJays predictions:
• Dylan Cease finishes top three for the AL Cy Young
• John Schneider sets a new career high for ejections in a single season (current high: 4)
• Kazuma Okamoto becomes your new favourite player
What do you think of Russell Peters?
It’s so good. It balances tone so well - it can be sad, then really funny, then intense, then genuinely sweet and touching, then gross. It’s the kind of show I could watch every day if it was on, highly recommend.
Good thing there’s never been any scandals with betting on baseball
It was a great move by Christian but I think Emily would have been the better choice for his game. I’m worried he’s put a big target on his back and pissed off a few of his allies.
