AND they'd vote for him a fourth time.
Dark Matter and Slightly Darker Matter
Three shinies, none with good IVs; but had a lucky 14/15/15 from before that I evolved, and a few decent (50 catch research) backgrounds so it wasn't too shabby

Okay, wow, getting some Cylon vibes from those Sharlin cruisers...
All I heard was its time to hack that bitch- what? You can always buy a new e-reader (the plan anyway) if the hacking goes south...
I still maintain The Files are the Distraction- from every-fucking-thing else...
Well, or just a fundamental level; business exist to create profit; governments exist to provide services to the people.
The LA one goes tighty-not-so-whiteys, tie and crown- I'm actually blanking if he goes with or without a cape (or maybe did one with NK2 and one without for NK3, cuz I can picture both versions)
But yeah, walking around in your undies is kind of a ballsy move
I hate him because somebody once said I sounded like him, and there was a significant amount of effort to not slug them in their face. (They explicitly said it was a compliment; this... maybe have increased the needed effort.)
To be fair, they've been told to do and not do a lot of things- their track record on doing what they've been told has been, to put it charitably, mixed.
Its ROI & CBA; until it becomes a worse deal to stand against him, they will stand with him.
Screenshot of a Concentrate Media article headlined "Get household items repaired for free at Ypsi library's new 'repair clinic' events," published March 23, 2026. The article describes YDL's new pilot repair clinic program where residents can use library supplies and equipment to repair household items for free. Below the headline, a photo shows YDL Librarian Aaron Smith and Youth Librarian Stephanie Pocsi-Morrison smiling at a table displaying two sewing machines, a blue grommet punch press, grommets, rivets, and sewing supplies inside YDL's downtown branch. The photo caption reads: "Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) Librarian Aaron Smith and Youth Librarian Stephanie Pocsi-Morrison with some of the equipment available through YDL's Library of Things, which will be used during YDL's upcoming repair clinics. Courtesy of Ypsilanti District Library."
What if the library could fix your jacket? 𧡠YDL's first-ever Repair Clinic is happening this Thursday from 10-11:30am at our downtown branch, and it's free!
Bring your worn clothing, ripped backpacks, and stubborn hems, and whatever's been sitting in your "I'll deal with this later" pile.
No no- we're living in the preamble to that section...
FAKE NEWS! That can't be ICE
Do you see a mask covering their face...?
He's "special", dontcha know?
Or, more plainly, laws don't apply to the rich and powerful- they are the tools for them to control the plebes.

@felicia.day what you said to me didn't register until I was halfway home from the #LostDaughterofSparta event tonight; the "you did great" and "was great to have around" things really hit me. Hearing that from someone who inspires, well, it humbled me- thank you.
Though to be fair, I still miss Borders...
Carlos Franklin, co-founder and co-owner of Black Stone Bookstore & Cultural Center in Ypsilanti, leans against a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf filled with colorful spines in his store. He's wearing a black hoodie and glasses and smiling at the camera. The image is overlaid with a screenshot of a Concentrate Media article headline reading "15 years after Borders' end, Ann Arbor and Ypsi independent bookstores succeed by playing to their strengths."
A town with great bookstores and a great library is a town worth living in. Fortunately, Ypsi's got both! π Support your local indie bookstores! (And while you're at it, grab your library card if you haven't already.)
