Pauper (he/they) is someone who escaped from the facility and now lives in the forest surrounding it! He treats Monarch's injuries after her accident, though he doesn't know the role she played at the facility. He's excitable, a bit naive, the opposite of Monarch's quieter demeanor...

OF COURSE! abomination forest actually has 3 separate story lines going on for it, but the main one follows Monarch and Pauper! Monarch (she/they) is a researcher in a facility that experiments on people, she loses her memory due to an accident, gets stranded in the woods

dude it takes everything in me not to just flood my feed just yapping about them ASJDNDJX they’re so ingrained in my brain. all my posts here so far have just been them because it’s the only thing I’ve been drawing lately HAHA
THANK YOU SO MUCH this month I told myself I would learn how to use gradient maps AND NGL ITS BEEN SO NICE… it’s taught me a lot about contrast and values and I feel like my rendering has gotten so much better as a result… I miss using my multiply and overlay layers though 😭😭
