“Phantom public sphere” for academic writers. How can we make it real? Can we make it real?
Honestly best answer to a sports reporter question ever

What a lovely, loving story this is. Like if Orlando were set at the Jersey Shore. "Lanternfly," by @emmaceisenberg.bsky.social, at @yalereview.bsky.social. From her new story collection, "Fat Swim." yalereview.org/article/emma...

I remember reading about these labor conditions in Orwell’s Roses, a truly excellent book. Yes: buy your beloved a book for tomorrow and maybe pick them some flowers.
It’s not a withdrawal until ICE is abolished.
I have neighbors everywhere.
Like 75% of the US Olympic curlers are from Minnesota. A lot of them curl out of two clubs in Saint Paul, one club is in Frogtown, a neighborhood that has been very heavily targeted by ICE. These curlers are good neighbors.
Bernie forever
Academics vying for a spot in Epstein‘s world. There are so many. I feel the need to make a thread, so I don’t keep confusing them. 1/
