I gotta go back and finish this. Some of these were tough choices to call. 98 was a crazy year for gaming.

Yeah and I haven’t even finished the core classics that year!
Dope to see the Backloggd GOTY 1998 event. It highlights how many classics I haven’t finished & can’t fully evaluate in some dimension . But I felt solid in these choices .
So.... we just saw a spike of listeners from Vietnam this last month? Shoutout to yall. Any of you all can tell us how you found us?!
I work at Kotaku now! :)
You can go watch back today's KFGD to hear me talk about it a little if you want. You could also read my alma mater @gibiz.bsky.social to learn more! www.gamesindustry.biz/kotaku-hires...
YES. It feels so natural to the strengths of the game!
This should’ve been an optional modifier on the base game because it’s actually crack.
My favorite event in the entire game, hands down.
The slipstream event where they increases the effect on speed gained by tailing a path has really added so much more adrenaline to #KirbyAirRiders
Getting a smidge further in #DoubleDragon the elbow move helps a ton
I suck at the #RatchetandClank grinding on Batalia. Fun for real though
Can't wait to see some Pragmata clips from you!
- Pragmata (PS5)
- Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town (Switch 2)
What games are you playing this weekend?
We should do some matches together!!
Playing Kirby Air Riders as the main game has me unsure what i want to compliment it! Pragmata is tempting
Don’t know how I want to spend my gaming budget this month.
2022 really had a cool looking game lineup
That’s so cool
Been seeing the #54321 challenge. Here’s mine
New video on the channel!

Donkey Kong Bananza really is THAT game.
That makes a ton of sense, I am assuming that means ADV has a "sense of place" than VN doesn't provide in the same way?
for a VN vs an ADV (the jp menu-based point-and-click equivalents like ace attorney or famicom detective club) I would expect the latter to give the player agency to move around and explore a space in a restricted way, whereas in the former there's little agency outside of fixed route choices
