I don't see any mayor downsides to this headset not to call it a successor. It checks so many marks and could possibly also check the affordability pass.

It may lack the lower face tracking module, but that's what a power user would use that slot for. Giving modularity pleases a larger audience!

It's been about half a month since Battle Square released and I still can't believe it happened, it feels surreal to me!

Not at the moment, no :< I would have to do a few too many things to make sure it's as optimized and as easy to use as possible.

The arrows being batched in a single mesh, reduce the contacts with different logic, and provide a way to convert a chart file (.sm/.scc) into animation frames.

You could yes! But given it's already pretty rough to get some decent hit detection with the hands I opted not to do so :<
