Bringing this thread back: the thing I wish everyone knew about fabric explained. Every fabric has a fiber and a weave. The fiber is the material it is made of (polyester, silk, cotton, wool, etc.) and the weave is how it is woven (satin, dupioni, chiffon, charmeuse, etc.)
An homage to Hong Doo’s 2022 Kill la Kill piece—this illustration depicts portions of Final Fantasy VII characters lined up to spell “2025!” with three hands, one canine paw, and a cat’s tail. On the far left is Cid Highwind’s glove holding a cigarette between two fingers—the smoke is shaped like a 2. Followed by Yuffie Kisaragi holding aloft a round orb of green materia to represent the 0. To the right is Vincent Valentine’s metallic clawed gauntlet giving the horns of the beast. Next is Red XIII’s red furred paw revealing five toe-beans.
