A black cat peeking out from under a green curtain at a window.
A square of artificial green grass. With a basketball stand at the back ground and wooden walls at the very back. On the ground is lots and lots of white hailstones.
A close up of hailstones on artificial grass.
My cat is asking me if I've seen outside. I went to peek alongside her and saw the hailstones. We made the wise devision to stay inside. It's supposed to be spring but the scottish weather decided to have one last winter wheeze. #caturday #spring #hailstones #ahhhscotland
I promise there will be fun aswell. "Zig a zig ah"-spice girls makes an appearance. 🤣
No more hope.
No more hope.
Unicorns and rainbows in the fifth book... I promise. But the magic does get very sparkly in the fourth book, plus theres music...
But the twist ends...well....dark.
You're allowed to be biased when your book is called "ᴄᴏᴠᴇɴ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ᴇʟᴅᴇʀ ʙʟᴏꜱꜱᴏᴍ" - brilliant title btw.
A drawing of daffodils. There are four yellow daffodils crossing over each other. It is from an old 1911 botanical and flora book called "flowers of the field" .
A drawing of Field Scabious. There are three purple flowers with long spiky green stems. It is from an old 1911 botanical and flora book called "flowers of the field" .
The plot structure for my fourth novel has been outlined. Lot's of research to do on this one. Resonance vibration and dark matter .... I've said too much.
And for no reason other than I like these drawings from a 1911 book called "flowers of the field". Here are some flowers.

My daughter is in Scottish national team for the Chess Olympiad!!!! I'm so proud. She's only been playing chess for 2.5 years - after watching The Queen's Gambit.
Please share or donate to help the team raise the money to get there.

@johnswinney.bsky.social Hi, the Scottish National Chess team are at the Olympiad. They are not getting any funding from the UK or the Scottish Government. Getting to represent Scotland is amazing. Can the Scottish Gov provide some sports funding, perhaps a grant?
Thank you so much for the share. Yes, that's a super important point. It's def a return ticket.

I agree, this was my first year of them. I'm looking forward to many more. They are stunning.
It is hard to imagine a crisis more precisely engineered to intercept the trajectory of Donald Trump’s presidency than his ill-judged, heedless war against Iran
Small purple flowers. They have long petals which are pink and purple. They have a brown stem and flat curvy leaves. They are called Anemone Blanda.

Today these little beauties made their first appearance. Spring has sprung.

A photograph of the railway bridge known as the Hielanman's umbrella at Central Station in Glasgow. It is a victorian station and the bridge is covered with ornate glass. There are green and gold embellishments at the side of each panel. At the bottom of the bridge in green and gold lettering is "cental station"
This is the brown pyramid that is the MoD building called sentimental house in glasgow. It looks like a step pyramid. It has won ugliest building awards.
This is a photograph of the view down Argyle Street towards the Hielanman's umbrella in glasgow. There is a road in the centre and on each side there are large buildings. Some are original sandstone, others are modern glass monoliths. There is blue sky today in Glasgow. This is not AI, just a freak of nature.
Where the action takes place in "Discovery".
It's set in Glasgow and features the dingier parts of town. Coincidentally this is where the Government and finance powers call home.
The Ley Lines entrance is under the Hielanman's umbrella. The central station Bridge.

I'm the opposite I can bang out a first draft super easy (well after the initial character development and back story, plot structure and chapter development) after that I'm super fast for the first draft, but my rewrites and edits I struggle with motivation.

And this my friends is why Scotland is brilliant.
Rebecca a 12yr old invented a solar powered blanket for the homeless. Now being made by veterans and a disabled workforce.
Invention, future, STEM, compassion, savy business and sustainable employment.
Bravo 👏

“We do not intend to part from the Americans and we do not intend to be satellites. I am sure they do not want us to be so. The stronger we are, the better partners we shall be”

A photograph of the sun in the centre with two light streaks coming out from the sun. Over the music centre in Newcastle. The music centre looks like a giant silver peanut.
An art installation. There are three sprite like shillouettes in a diagonal running up the wall. The one in the centre has blue legs for eyes. Arty.
A view of the bridges over the Tyne. The bridges are the millennium Bridge (which bounced when I walked on it ... unnerving) and the Tyne Bridge. It was a clear blue sky.
This is the inside of a victoriana market called Grainger market. There is a large glass roof with green steel frame. There are market stalls around the edge and centre of the hall.
Newcastle is an eclectic pleasure. The big burny thing in the sky graced me with its presence.

A photograph of the bright sun light through trees. The trees don't have any leaves. The sun has caused a lovely rainbow effect on the right hand side of the photograph.
This is a photograph of the woodland at night. The bright moon is behind the trees. Everything is very dark except for the bright moonlight.
Day and night in the woods. It is still looking baren on the hill. But there are little green shoots peaking up through the forest floor. Come on spring. I'm ready for you.

I'm with you on that. The hilarious part of this story is I've never seen a feral pigs in my entire life in Scotland. I'm pretty sure if there was one in Glasgow it would be deep fried before it could say "oink". 😆
The world is burning... meanwhile in Scotland ... feral pigs.
I just blooming love Scotland. "Your problem nothing to do with us we have the important matter of feral pigs to deal with."

A book cover. There is a green door that is open. On the door is a Christmas wreath hanging. There is a magical golden sparkle going from the open door to the outside. The world beyond the door is a winter / snowy scene of Glasgow at night. There is a witch flying on a broom and a UFO in the sky.
