I highly recommend trying this using New Mexico red chile: buenofoods.com/red-chile-po...
(don't worry about the pig's feet, my grandparents never put that)
it's clearly because I talked you down by exposing you to Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge

A picture of a Game Boy Advance with an e-Reader inserted into it. The game Exo Attack is playing on the Game Boy. Exo Attack cards are off to the right. The caption says "Nintendo E-Reader Game Giveaway!"
I'm giving away 20 copies of Exo Attack for the Nintendo E-Reader.
Repost this post to be entered into the contest.
I was kinda joking yeah, but the actual answer is I use Linux and FamiTracker works better in a VM than in WINE, so I keep XP running on a VM for things like this
how else do you expect me to famitrack??
oops I kinda fell off with my music posting, here's a city theme for @dullahansoft.bsky.social's top-down NES+VRC6 racing game
"Cool Sneakers Crew"
there's nothing more 2010-era chiptune than writing a dozen or so Mega Man songs and then decreeing that you're moving on from chiptune because you ran out of things to do with it

contrary to popular belief, I do still famitrack! here's a level theme for a burger joint deep in the primordial forest (it's called Dino-Burger), for an upcoming NES+VRC6 top-down racing game by @dullahansoft.bsky.social
right looks like an Amiga game
check out my media tab! I've been trying to be a bit more consistent with my tunesposting

once upon a time I was scoring a PC Engine port of Alter Ego which unfortunately seems to have vanished off the face of the earth, it was a neat opportunity to revisit doing some new takes on enhanced versions of the tunes...stick around for 0:49!
bsky's compressor really does a number on this one huh......

bullet hell on an SNES
uhh
real SNES game: bullet hell?
uhhhh.....
no-expansion-chips SNES Touhou??
oh shit I need to play this
shame there doesn't seem to be any BGM?
This time we got a music post + #rexnobilis update twofer: here's a sneak peek at the 100% homegrown music engine and a WIP of one of the boss tunes for my SNES bullet hell Rex Nobilis! #screenshotsaturday #indiedev #snes #γΉγΌγγΌγγ‘γγ³γ³ #γΉγΌγγ‘γ
hate that thinking, always thought the totally different experience should justify it even assuming the gameplay isn't as good (which isn't always the case)
also I just replayed MM1 a month or so ago and didn't hate it, it's good
No cool graphics to show, but there's a lot of tech behind the scenes to ensure the maximum possible sound quality -- no muffled echoey sounds here. The game's OST will source samples mostly from various FM sources + effects processing, for a very unique sound in an SNES game.

Bookmans sticker spotted
this tune was actually written in Deflemask, before Furnace blessed us with operator macros, so the chordpatch delaying each op was actually accomplished via some SSG-EG jank instead. crazy technique that I will literally never use again!
my attempt to get into some Ryu Umemoto vibes or something on the Sega Genesis, this is some kind of ocean cave area in @nosebecc.bsky.social's game (NSFW!)
stick around for the melody drop at 1:45
