D2D takes 10% fees for each transaction. So an author who makes $90 a year on D2D will pay $12 + $9 fees a year to use D2D. An author who makes $110 will pay just $11 in fees.

Draft2Digital will now charge authors a $12 USD annual fee if they make less than $100 USD a year. People who make $100 or more will be exempt from this.

New accounts will also be charged a $20 USD activation fee.

I honestly had no plans to write a story for either one of them, but this grumpy-grumpy pairing is so wrong that it's right. I'm busy planning the shenanigans taking place in Oceanview.
